my mum is 84 and has been in atenolol for 22 years after having a quadruple heart bypass. She is in 25 mg dose and this week her go has told her to stop taking them as her pulse is too low. After 2nd day her anxiety is through the roof and she can’t stop shaking, she’s having palpitations and just generally feeling absolutely awful. Please can anyone give me some advice.
