Feeling Confused / Disoriented

Hey Guys!

For the past week or so I’ve been feeling confused and disoriented, almost feels like the room is spinning in a way . I constantly do think about it when I’m driving or walking around. Can this be an mental health issue like anxiety or something physical with my body etc ? Anybody deal with this before ?

Love to hear your thoughts

Thanks so much !

Then yes. Lol. I have felt like that before. Usually when I have gone through heightened anxiety for awhile.

what about men’s medicinal ?

Yes, I get this as well but I’m aware of my heightened anxiety and it’s symptoms after years of struggle with it. It’s probably a result of too much stress but if it doesn’t subside I would go to doc, or ER if it continues without rest. 🙏

Hi Style, many reasons can be attributed to what you are experiencing.

For myself, too much salt as well as dehydration. However overwhelming

anxiety can cause the inner ears to squeeze down causing this disoriented

dizzyheaded feeling.

Looking back over your posts, I noticed that several months ago you broke

up with your gf who you were very much in love with. You spoke about finding

it more than difficult in not being able to accept it.

During this time of the year, many who have had losses during the past can

experience overwhelming emotional upsets. The sadness and loneliness can

cause depressed and anxious feelings at the same time. This in itself can cause

that disoriented feeling as well as confusion.

Since I am not a doctor, I can only advise that you see a physician who can address

these physical symptoms to determine if they are emotionally cause. :) xx

LOL I only answer when it's something I too have been through. I've been lucky

in having great therapists and doctors that I learned from. Sometimes it's hard

not to repeat myself after 7 years on this forum .

I do hope you start feeling better soon. Wishing you a peaceful holiday :) xx

Yes in the past my anxiety has caused a myriad of symptoms including dizziness, weakness, numbness in my legs and hands, heart racing , feeling unreal and difficulty breathing, feeling like I am going to die. All due to anxiety. I hope you will get checked out to figure out what is going on and how to best deal with it before it becomes debilitating.

It would be good for you to visit the doctor, because dizziness has various causes, but what I can tell you is that you try to stay calm.

More than likely what you are experiencing is anxiety, ruminating and obsessing about it and staying stuck in your head and preoccupied with the thoughts can be disorienting and feel like you are disconnected with your body. Medication can help you with this if you aren't already taking something. It also could be physically related, you might have your hormones (testosterone), thyroid and adrenals check out to make sure they are functioning properly. If not, they can cause or contribute to anxiety/mood issues.

I have dealt with this a good part of my life. Mine is caused from anxiety and depersonalization. This is brought on for a variety of reasons. Though it is not serious but certainly feels like it is , my advice would be to check with your doctor.
