I had a MI in March last year and had 1 x stent several days later. Since then I've had various problems with the medication that I was given with mainly fatigue, so my medication was tweaked for several months after. I am now on the dosages I was originally put on and have been for a while and felt a bit better, not perfect but things were stable. I've never had to use the GTN spray.
I caught Covid over the Xmas and was pretty ill with it, tested positive for 11 days. I first felt a bit rough a couple of days before testing positive, like my face was flushed and a pressure headache, followed by coughing, shivers etc. I had 4 days of feeling really ill with a constant weird seal call sounding cough and was bed ridden for the 4 days then started to improve a little every day.
Today, 11 days after testing negative my breathing is not 100% and I get breathless doing normal things like going up a flight of stairs. Its not severe enough to worry me as I gather its part of the course of covid recovery and I still have an occasional cough.
What I am a bit worried about is I still have the flushed face feeling and my face is slightly redder than normal. I still keep feeling like i'm going to be ill, like the way you feel just before a flu with a fuzzy head. I'm feeling fatigued a lot and have intermittent pain in my chest, not like an angina pain but more of a sitting on my chest pain which doesn't last for long. I know that angina can feel like that but this does feel different from any chest pain i've had before and it doesn't come on with any sort of pattern like exercise.
I know this might sound daft but is it possible that with all the heavy coughing I have done, could I have done something to the stent or maybe it's just chest muscle strain with the coughing?
Thanks
