Have you tried a progesterone only pill as an alternative to the coil . If it doesn't suit you at least you can stop taking it. I find a hot water bottle helps on my lower back and aching thighs/groin. Although I'm pretty lucky my pain is eased with ibruprofen and paracetamol even though I'm stage 4. I hope you get some relief soon x

I fully sympathise with you. This is what I used to be like. Surgery made a huge difference to me but also I'm lucky as I've never had side effects from the pill. I've been taking a low-oestrogen one back-to-back for years so I don't have periods. When I was having periods I'd start taking ibuprofen a few days before my period was due then 3 times a day plus paracetamol. I'm not completely pain free but nothing like what is was. Wheatbags - I wrap one across me if I have my dressing gown on. Raspberry leaf/peppermint tea. Lavendar oil (a few drops on hanky/in bath or mixed with oil for massage. Have you tried looking at diet or exercise like yoga/tai chi if you're after something natural? Hope that helps a bit and good luck with appt.

so took Danazol back in 1980’s It did work But unfortunately my voice completely disappeared. After a couple of month of taking it ? I stopped my voice came and at last after years and years of thinking I’d never conceive I had my daughter in 1987. Then 1992 had my second daughter without any problems. After that the endometriosis came back with large “chocolate cysts . I had a subtotal hysterectomy. I was left in 1999 with one and half ovaries sub of my curvex . With that remaining in my body the endometriosis was still there . I am 62 in couple weeks I have pms and endometriosis pain all the time . There is no cure . We are woman and the world won’t help us . I felt sorry for every woman who has endometriosis . I’m lucky I have my daughters. No cure I’m so so sorry 💐

To help the sickness ginger will help, some natural herbs added into your diet.

Having long term pain is stress full which in your back area. Plus fluid intake

is to have drinks ginger tea, peppermint etc

So that you are not taking too many painkillers which mask - paracetamol to bring down a fever plus using something cool /warm-

Hope you keep well,safe

I’m taking paracetamol but that’s for mild pain

I take diclofenac sodium for severe pain

Haven’t tried peppermint or ginger tea

Can you share recipe

Hi

Some recipes are in cooking books,on via other methods.

Have an recipe which helps with alot of things us ladies have to live with.

with most things it's finding an recipe that suits your requirements. Try to

use soy milk,natural items in the store { local shops should cover most items}

Some can be from health shops - so soak oats overnight in milk - then add fruit/nuts

spices - cook until firm in an loaf tin- so the whole family can help!

Hope you are keeping well and safe

hi I use ibuprofen right before my period and all during. I wear a tens unit and use it constantly as well as heating pad. Not completely remove pain but makes it more manageable. There is still some pain that nothing helps and it is absolutely unbearable at times. For mood help I take citalopram otherwise I suffer as does my household. I had surgery in the past but it didn’t help. I am not considering another surgery as it could make things worse. So this is my current pain management plan until I can figure something else out.

can you tell me what tens unit or brand of heat pads electric you are using

I am using rice socks but they get cold very quickly and sometimes I require heat continuously around my back and that too at my work place

So want some heat belt or pad that can go around my waist and still be disguised

I couldn't tolerate hormone treatment well either. Heat really helped and doing gentle exercise when I could manage it like walking or yoga. I also found a more anti-inflammatory diet helped my symptoms and for me taking out wheat and sugar really helped.
