Head tingling face, legs, and arms
for the last 12 months I have had 24/7 head tingling in random parts of the
head
with weird sensations too, plus
head
pain
and now headaches daily. Went to GP who sent me for an MRI and Neurologist who was absolutely useless saying this could be the start of MS, come back to see me in a year.

Minor Calf Strains (Pulled Calf)
As many know by now, I've been firmly placed onto the injury couch again, so my next posts will not be about running, or walking, rowing, dancing, stretching, weightlifting 😩 but …. yes … recovery and rehabilitation. I’ll share my journey to hold myself to account, but also in case it helps anyone

Hello everyone. I had my laparoscopy for stage 4 endo 2 weeks ago and unexpectedly now have my period which is alot more painful than I ever imagined it would be. Has anyone experienced a more painful period after surgery? It’s worse than when I had endo! Has anyone also been on Ryeqo? If so, how

Broken Shoulder
Hi, everyone. My 73 year old husband had a nasty fall playing walking football on Monday morning. It turned out that he broke his shoulder badly and most of his arm came out in a massive bruise. I took him straight to casualty hoping to get seen straight away because his shoulder didn't look right and

Check your Thyroid
For about a year I’ve been struggling. Fatigue getting worse, frozen shoulder, dry mouth and eyes, aching, brain fog, palpitations. It really got worse after last years autumn Covid booster when I thought I was having a heart attack. Heart all checked out fine. So I talked to my consultant at my clinic

Weaning off Topiramate and starting Rizatriptan
I saw my consultant today (it has been 3 months since I last saw him). I do not think I am seeing much benefit from the Topiramate, and after a long discussion he came to the conclusion that he thinks the Topiramate could be contributing to my severe insomnia and depression. Therefore he has decided

1 Year on Besremi results
I did skip one dose entirely in July 2023 due to 10 day episode of intense upper chest, throat, and
head
pain
which I am scheduled for endoscopy to diagnose. HCT was down to 38.0% before missed dose. Overall I am very pleased with Besremi response.

ibuprofen & Pramipexole
Nearly 3am and wondering why the Pramipexole is not working. Have just discovered that Ibuprofen renders Pramipexole ineffective and I took a couple of Ibuprofen as a pain killer. Will I ever get to sleep? Does the Ibuprofen wear off.? If/when it does, will the the pramipexole kick in or do I have to

Pain Medication Question
Any advice for pain medication. Husband is on hospice and bedridden. Leg muscles have atrophied. He experiences pain when he is moved by caregiver. Morphine and tramadol are too strong and suppress the appetite. He has already lost a lot of weight and can't afford to lose more. He is willing to

Does anyone take pantoprazole with MtX?
During this weekend I have had a bad pain in my esophagus. I get that from time to time, probably due reflux caused by the prednisolone and PMR, as it is worse during a flare. I usually take pantoprazole a couple of days and it heals up fast (doctor's prescription). However - now I am on MtX since

Tylenol 3 with Codeine…I need a substitute…Help
I’m stage 3b and maintaining. I just had foot surgery this morning. My orthopedic surgeon consulted with my nephrologist and decided Tylenol 3 with Codeine would be best to start . If that didn’t work I could take low dose Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325mg. The Tylenol 3 is making me vomit, but
