Muscle pain
Hi everybody. I’m posting a question for my husband. He gets these strange pains out of the blue. They can be anywhere but mostly in his arms. They’re pretty severe when it happens. One day he almost dropped to the ground. Does anybody else get anything like this? I remember a while back there was a

Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation - Why?
I am new here. I just wish to introduce myself. I am a 72 year old caucasion woman. My story is as follows: February, 2019 I woke up at around 3:30 am and felt as if something was not right. About half an hour later I got up to go to the washroom. As soon as I stepped out of the bed I felt lightheaded

Good times in a crazy world
Last year at this time I thought that MY world had collapsed. One year later, the Whole World is collapsing, showing us all that live is unpredictable, and needs to be enjoyed in full every day that we are here. Continuing from my previous post, we had a fantastic December Holiday at the Beach. The children

Platelets up!
Hi, as I have mentioned before Im newly diagnosed 4 weeks ago now, but I just had my bloods done to find out my cholesterol level and nutrient levels in blood. It was not a hemo appointment or anything. I'm quite shocked because in a month they have gone from 505 to 638!! I'm so concerned. Does this

Angina, always normal cholesterol - hereditary
Diagnosed with heart disease in January and after initial denial and shock now trying to answer questions. I have read that 25% of people with heart disease have no aggravating lifestyle choices and I count myself in that group. Docs have put me on statin, GTN and Monomil and I can now walk the 1/2 mile

I am about to start taking Ezetimibe for high cholesterol. I a bit hesitant as with high blood pressure tablets I have had a lot of side effects. Has anyone been prescribed this drug before and what side effects of any have they suffered.
