Statin intolerance

I cannot tolerate statins - my cholesterol was always fine even before my triple bypass but after taking my post op medication I found I couldn’t tolerate them either my cardiologist took me off everything apart from aspirin. My new cholesterol level was high when last taken due to eating only what my stomach would tolerate (like crisps) . Am now back to my health diet and pretty fit.. However I cannot have a test now so have a few worries, Has anyone else encountered this problem

Can I ? I simply thought such tests were not available due to lockdown

I agree with you, surgeries are very safe places to be. My husband is having blood tests weekly at the moment. Only 1 patient at a time allowed into surgery, nurse is in full ppe. Temperature is taken before you get through the door the nurse sanitising your hands as soon as you enter & you're not allowed to touch anything not even a door handle, the nurse opens & closes the door for you.
