Panic over cataract surgery
Hi friends I'm writing this as mum is on the toilet. She has cataract surgery due at 12.30 today but it is now 10.15 and mum needs a number 2. I'm worried we will not make it to hospital as she takes over an hour sometimes two to finish and then I have to wash and shower her. It takes an hour to get

So I read somewhere after googling can cancer be detected on regular CMP panel because I had a CMP panel in October 2021 (normal) and then X-rays in January 2022 (also normal). I had a chest X-ray, lumbar spine X-ray because I fell in my house and feared a broken bone. All clear. Neither blood work or

Switching brands of Thyroxine
Hi there...I'm new to this forum so hello to all fellow sufferers out there. I've recently been reading about the issues that surround the swapping of brands of thyroxine. I heard about this from a lady in the pharmacy queue and couldn't help but overhear her conversation there. I asked her what

Blurriness and floaters
Iâm currently in the âwatching briefâ phase after a series of 10 Lucentis injections in my left eye. Over the past month, Iâve noticed a number of small black floaters and intermittent blurriness in the affected eye. CPTSD
So I'm wondering if anyone here also has Childhood (or Complex) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? if so, have you found some good therapy/treatment for it? How do you feel it impacts your ADHD? I seem to recall Gabor Maté stating that he thinks many issues like ADHD are actually attributable to CPTSD

Could Pegasys cause hair thinning?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with MF in January 2021. I have been on 45mg of Pegasys weekly since then. I have noticed just recently that my hair appears to be getting thinner and shedding. Wonder if this is a side effect or my age!! 65. Thanks

Two natural substances seem to help subclinical hypothyroidism
Make of this paper what you will. It claims that myo-inositol and selenium therapy can normalise TSH in subclinical hypothyroidism. I just mention it because it could possibly differentiate those with temporary SCH and those who are firmly on their way to overt hypothyroidism. Front. Endocrinol., 16

Hello Iâm fairly new to this site and you all seem such a cohesive and friendly family. I was diagnosed with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma in July of this year following a couple of subconjunctival haemorrhages in my left eye. Itâs stable now with Dorzolamide/Timolol eyedrops and I visit the Eye Clinic
