Has anyone used the medication 'Hyalofemme'
I have been given this product for Vaginal Atrophy and Vaginal dryness. Unlike the 'Yes Vaginal Moisturiser', it claims to repair the skin, and give it back it's own natural moisture. It also says it has been clinically proven to be as effective as hormone cream containing 0.1 % oestriol. Also claims

6 weeks on and still suffering with chest infections
My cough started mid January, it was chronic to a point of vomiting at times. Felt so unwell I finely gave in to concerned hubby after 4 weeks and saw a gp. Diagnosed with a chest infection and prescribed antibiotics. 5 days later I developed a horrible pain in my chest stretching down my left side

Eye infection & cold - Sick Day Rules?
I have a nasty eye infection and the doctor has given me antibiotic eye drops and pills, which I have been on for a few days now but they haven’t worked yet. I also have a streaming cold. I was on 4 mg of Pred but following SDR I have been on 10 mg for a few days now. But I am just wondering, if I do

Any advice on Myocarditis?
Have recently been diagnosed with myocarditis this last week after experiencing chest pains. I would consider myself a healthy, active 37 year old female. Non smoker and no underlying health issues. Had covid quickly followed by the flu December last year, had experienced mild left side chest pain

Pregnancy
Hi, I have pigment dispersion syndrome with a small amount damage to my right optic nerve but no change on visual fields on either eye. My pressures are relatively well controlled on latanoprost and dorzolamide. I am planning on trying to get pregnant next year and wondered how others managed their eyes

Eyes water during field test
Hi. I'm new here and joined on behalf of my elderly father. He has had glaucoma for a few years and every time he is called for an eye test he goes to pieces. His eyesight is fine - he can airplane spot and has no issues with any aspect of reading or distances. His only issue is doing the field test

High Eye Pressure After Eylea Injection
I had my 5th Eylea injection yesterday, for Diabetic Retinopathy. I always feel pain with the injections, sometimes stinging, but worse when it is a feeling of heavy pressure. Yesterday I lost my vision in my left eye immediately after the injection. My Ophthalmologist explain it was a reaction

so my specialist is referring me onto a glaucoma expert in high pressures ( surgery on the cards ) I’m literally 40 years old like what is happening to my life my health is going down the toilet. I’m scared of the burden of this surgery I’m a single mum to a 9 year old like right on top of Christmas

Gift idea
I cannot recommend this enough! I consider it part of my durable medical equipment. 🤣 I bought one more than a year ago, "just in case", and it has been a lifesaver. For those of you who don't have easy access to a second car to jump your dead battery or a gas station on every corner to put air

It was 13 years ago I had my Heart Attack, I seem to be well stabilised on my present drug regime having been under the hospital Cardiologist for 2 years as a chest X ray for breathing problems then showed up the chance of heart failure. Luckily it was a false alarm and with adjustments to my drugs was

so worried about results
hi all well to cut a long story short, I had a terrible chest infection all of December, 3 lots of antibiotics and steroids which eventually cleared it all up. Had a sputum test which came back ok, but the doctor wants to talk to me about my chest X-ray. I have convinced myself that it is something nasty

My GP prescribed this PPI a month ago. I have been coughing since before Christmas, when I had a virus of some sort, not covid. My chest X-ray is clear but I did think it might be my thyroid being irritable? Or reflux. I’m on 75mcgs levothyroxine and my tsh was 1 point something quite low on last

I have had eylea injections for Macular in the right eye for wet for 6 years. It continues to be "still active". The left eye is the dry Macular and is not treated at all yet. . But, just last week after a consultation I was informed that this left eye has a cataract and can be operated on to resolve

cloudiness/blurriness after Eylea injection
I had my first eylea injection Tuesday after experiencing a CRVO. I continue to experience cloudiness and blurriness and some floaters. I’ve been in contact with the ophthalmology team, who’ve suggested that this can continue for days to weeks depending on the patient. Also, there are no other signs
