Calling all Prontogest experts!
Hello lovely ladies, Following on from my progesterone blood test today after transfer I’m now on prontogest injections every other day. This isn’t my first rodeo with these awful injections but haven’t done them for a while. Any top tips from anyone on them? My husband just did my first of this cycle

Retina bleed
Hi, just wondered if anyone else has had something similar to hopefully put my mind at rest. I’m 57, very myopic. I had retinal detachments in both eyes 27 years ago and my eyesight has been good, considering. At Christmas I had a couple of bangs on the head. The first one was me walking along a pavement

Is this a rectal prolapse?
Can rectal prolapse cause flat stools? I have a GI appt. coming up and I don't know where to start. I just had my third child 13 weeks ago. I am a 30 yo F. During my pregnancy I developed and urgency to have BMs and it hasn't let up. I wake up in the morning to have a BM almost immediately and it takes

Webinar to explore the latest in research and treatment for DMO
The first condition of our condition-specific Virtual Clinic of 2021 will take place later this month, focusing on diabetic macular oedema (DMO) DMO is the biggest cause of sight loss in diabetics and it is a complication of diabetic retinopathy. It results in a condition very similar to wet age-related

Why is my breathing suddenly so bad?
I have had asthma for years but although I admit I generally haven't taken my preventer regularly I have felt very comfortable. Suddenly my symptoms have become severe. No cough, just tight and unable to breathe easily. When it first started it was terrifying as my chest, diaphragm and ribs felt exhausted

Change in nature of Afib after ablation?
Hi. Just wondering if anyone has experienced a change in the nature of their afib after ablation. I had my first ablation at St Thomas's in London at the beginning of last November. I've been ok till about three weeks ago when the dreaded AF returned. Before the ablation my experience of AF was paroxysmal

Eye pain
I’m light sensitive, occasional eye pain but fortunately not bad at the moment. But there’s time yet. As you know fibromyalgia moves around your body. My worst are my back hips groin. Though I found out I have a prolapsed womb now as well and it’s hard to know what pains what. I’d go to the opticians

Life after a negative lap
Haven't been active on here for a while but thought I'd offer an update, maybe this might be helpful to anyone who has a laparoscopy that finds nothing. Had my lap in September and felt absolutely awful when they told me they didn't find any endo. I felt like if they couldn't identify the problem, it

Interpreting the results
Despite having had AMD since 2017 I don’t actually understand some of the terminology. “OCT indicated right eye
drusen
and
pigment epithelial detachment
with no intraretinal or subretinal fluid and left eye pigment epithelial detachment with subretinal and intraretinal fluid

Is there any relationship between Bulged Belly button with B12 deficiency?
Hi all. Anybody knows belly button bulging related to B12 deficiency since I was diagnosed in 2013 with low B12 but didn't seek proper treatment and had injection for three times only . Since then gradually many symptoms started to develop. At the beginning it was just losing muscle volume then problem

Tail bone pain
Hello, does any one else have tailbone pain? I'm wondering if it is just me, or whether it could be linked to my scleroderma. I've also noticed that my tailbone feels bonier now... not swollen exactly, just more protruding. GP couldn't feel any issue with it. But it feels different to me. It's very painful

Glutamate triggers!
First line treatment goes after how the body absorbs glutamate. Not surprisingly foods high in glutamate are triggers for me, and I assume would be triggers for others (yes, we are all different). The reason I mention this is some of the foods high in glutamate, like parmesan cheese (all aged cheeses

Advice needed please! Do I start my rescue pack for bronchiectasis?
Oh dear, after weeks of feeling like I have an airlock in my lower right lung, it now seems to have developed into something more serious. Cant bring much phlegm up by exercises and nebuliser. What does come up is clear but I am on sputum thinners. GP organised a chest X-ray for today but had to alter

Scarring on lungs.
I have recently had a chest X-ray because of being very breathless and wheezing a lot. My GP told me that it showed I have fluid on my lungs which may mean pulmonary oedema which could be caused by heart failure. I was referred to a respiratory consultant and he said that he doesn't think there is fluid
