Pneumonia and Pleurisy- pain
Hi. I'm new here. I haven't been well since before Christmas. Initially I had a bit of a sore throat which I thought then turned into a virus- cough and sinus symptoms, shivers etc. A fortnight ago I felt pain in my chest- centre and at left hand side along ribs and behind breastbone area. Also at

weaning off Fentanyl patches
I am on 25mcg Fentanyl patches for pain caused by a compression fracture on my T10 vertebrae due to radiation treatment for metastatic prostate cancer. I have been on painkillers for about 12 months now, beginning with morphine etc which caused intense constipation. I began about 9 months ago on 12 mcg

Hi Everyone, this is my first post but I've been reading everything on this forum for a while now. I'm in real trouble with augmentation after taking ropinirole for 11 years. I successfully tapered off and was completely free of it by April 2023, however the RLS remained severe, and in October I decided

Aspirin-induced gastritis and gastrointestinal bleeding
I haven’t taken an 81 mg coated aspirin every day for 18 years. Last month my doctor noticed that my iron level had dipped down to 16 from 64 in previous years. She suggested that I was having internal bleeding. Over the last couple years I’ve lived with stomach pain. Often just a two out of 10

Good evening all. As a CMT 1a from birth but not diagnosed until mid 40s.. Had both ankles realigned and one rebuilt, taking painkillers until they come out of my arse. Have in the past six months met a new woman in my life and she has really helped in looking into all different aspects of this shitty

Lower Back Pain
Hello, I have suffered from lower back pain for years on and off, having MRI Scans, physio sessions, taking pain killers. This year the pain never goes away. The MRI Scan shows dehydrated bulging discs at L4 & L5. I exercise and walk. I really struggle to bend down and sit for over 10 minutes.

What could be causing pain in the testicle?
Share you with my opinions. There are many reasons for testicular pain, the most common reason is chronic prostatitis, epididymitis and varicocele. back pain
I posted on here a while back about my back pain. I ended up at the walk in centre today as I was in severe pain this morning couldn’t get out of bed and almost passed out because of the pain. I have had a cough for the last few days and this has definitely exacerbated the problem. Again was given more

Calcified tendonitis
Has anyone experienced calcified tendinitis? I have been diagnosed with this after 6 months of excruciating shoulder pain. GP kept just prescribing painkillers then I saw the physio who advised me to have an X-ray. I am now having a steroid injection in my shoulder followed by physio, and hopefully this

Thankful
My husband had his first chemo treatment of 275ml Docetaxel (Taxotere) on 1/11/24 at 2 pm. Thankfully he has had no bad side effects to it except for flatulence. He has not had to take any pain medication since mid day on 1/11/24. Before that he was having to take Oxycodone 10mg every 4 hours or

Post Op abdominal pain
I am only 3 months post oesophagectomy and so appreciate it is still very early days into recovery. However, each morning between 0300 and 0600hr, I wake up with a nagging pain in the lower abdomen just below and to the left of the stomach incision. The pain eases when I get out of bed and move about

Edit: Added the elevation profile from said marathon. Its making my knee twinge just looking at it.
