I have been diagnosed with severe rectrovaginal endo and am currently waiting for my 2nd lap on the 13th May at a specialist endo center in cornwall. Surgery AGAIN!! But referred to ACS on the positive side.
So I find myself needing surgery again to remove cysts/endometriomas, and treat my endometriosis. It's not even two years since I had my last surgery via laparotomy. Needless to say I'm a bit disillusioned with it all, as after my last surgery I was on GnRH for a year, which is supposed to slow growth

Hi guys I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis after six years of problems with no explanation. I went to see the gynocologist the other day and she said they are now putting me through a 6 month round of Gnrh injections that put me into a temporary menopausal state. I was wondering if anyone

Bowel endometriosis
Hi all. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy on 14th March where they found endometriosis on my left pelvic wall, Uterovesical fold and also a large nodule on my rectum. My main symptoms were mostly related to my bowel. The consultant excised all of the endo apart from the nodule on my rectum which he didn't

Hello Sisters, Saw a second specialist today for a second opinion as per your advice back at the end of September when the first one turned me down for laparoscopy and instead recommended I try Visanne or GnRH analogues. This one had a much better bedside manner and looks like some time around March

Hi!
Hi, I've been a lurker on here for a while now, and reading all your experiences, advice and support has helped me get through the dark days. Thank you. I've been suffering with endo for over 10 years now, been in and out of hospital, lots of admissions, morphine, monitoring, advice, laparoscopies

How long must I wait before I can be referred for IVF?
I've got a diagnosis of Stage IV endometriosis and have had 2 laps with both ovarian cystectomy and excision of endometriosis. I'm about to have my merina coil removed as I am getting married in 3 weeks time and we want to start trying for a baby ASAP. 2 years ago after my second lap and GnRH treatment

What does this test involve?
Hi there, Has anyone had their 'anterior pituitary function' tested? I've got to spend a full morning in hospital on Friday having the test done and it sounds pretty comprehensive! Endo says he will be checking my GnRH, TRH, Short Synacthen. Does anyone know what kind of diagnoses or indications these
