GnRH antagonist injections for severe endo
Has anyone else had a GnRH antagonist injection before with add back HRT to treat severe endo? how did it go? I'll be on it for 6 months and I get my 1st injection tomorrow, a bit nervous because I'm chronically ill with many other conditions and side effects will make life even harder 😬

First lap, 4 points, sad about the scars but oh well!
Hi ladies! Just had my first lap 4 days ago. It was quite bizarre because we thought we were just going to have a look inside to verify my Adenomyosis, and if there really was any adhesion on my left ovary to my uterus that was picked up by the ultrasound. Was panicking about that because the doctor

27, never had a baby, diagnosed with Adenomyosis!
I was offered Visanne (
gnRh
agonist
) to take for 6 months but I refused to take up on the treatment as I went on a little research of women on it, and the side effects sounded really scary.

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland at night. Production is tied to the circadian cycle, but can be cut short upon exposure to certain light frequencies. It is therefore unwise to turn on a light once production begins. Night lights lacking the blue frequencies might be OK. Melatonin

Bicalutamide (Casodex) plus Dutasteride (Avodart)
New Dutch study 1] below. The rationale behind the combination of Casodex & Avodart was articulated in a 2009 paper [2]: "Bicalutamide blocks androgen action in men with prostate cancer but has low affinity for the androgen receptor compared to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Dutasteride, a dual 5-reductase
