Gnrh and hysterectomy
Hi I was wondering if anyone had had the gnrh analogues, I’m currently on prostrap, where they found that there symptoms got better to begin with but the then have got gradually worse again. If you had this and then had a hysterectomy did you find any benefit? Thanks

HRT AND GnRH
hi all I’m starting to have awful side effects only 2 weeks into my first prostap injection - I’ve decided to go for HRT. However I’m not sure how much I need in terms of dose (I don’t want too much oestrogen). And also I don’t know which brand. Would love to hear experiences x

Hi, so yesterday I visited my gyno. I was expecting to hear abit about my surgery and get a possible date for opp. Like with all ops I know there is risks involved. Because mine is joined to my bowel I was shocked to hear how many risks plus the fact I may not have children and have to have ivf at a

Gnrh
Hi all, Last night I met another new consultant who told me what I already know. I have Endo. Thanks. I am stage 4 and gosh my body knows it! Anyway, long story short he's suggesting Gnrh injections for 3 months, then if they work out me on progesterone only pill. The idea, to see how I cope without

Bleeding every 10 days on cerelle
Hi I had my 2nd lap 18 months ago, to remove adhesions. The consultant wanted me to then have the mirena coil fitted, but I was not keen, so instead she said I should take a deoestrogel (sp?) Mini pill. Again I was reluctant but my gp suggested I try it and see how I felt. To cut a long story short,

Morgentaler & Testosterone Flare
New paper below. Abraham Morgentaler's Saturation Model states that PCa cells have all the testosterone [T] they can use at T levels in the upper-hypogonadal range. Therefore if T = 350, 650 or 950 ng/dL, there is no difference in the effect on PCa proliferation. The testosterone flare caused by Lupron

free Testosterone [fT] & survival.
This follows on from my response to the YONSA post. From a recent paper [1]: "Despite the fact that free testosterone (FT) is the biologically active form, it is common practice that androgen suppression is monitored via total testosterone levels only." "A total of 34 patients with continuous measurements
