PMR on to osteoarthritis.
So I am trying to get my feet seen by my GP but first I have to have a blood test to check inflammation. From the phone call w a GP it sounded like there was nothing they can do for Osteoarthritis. The GP said buy some glucosamine & chondroitoin. Anyone have experience of taking these supplements

can i take glucosamine chondroitin with turmeric plus msm with the prednisone and the usual calcium ,vitamin d etc.
Im doing well on my tapering. Just starting down to 6mg prednisone for my PMR. My daughter likes to do natural suppliments and just gave me a large jar of this stuff. I also take fish oil regularly and she gave me jar of Krill oil to use instead. Thoughts on this ?

The more homocysteine, the worse the Parkinson's?
"You don't discover new continents if you don't have the courage to lose sight of the old shores." Andre Gide An elevated level of the amino acid homocysteine in the blood is neurotoxic and has been reported as a truly important risk factor for developing Parkinson's, as well as cardiovascular disease

Vitamins to take osteoporosis
What vitamins do you take? I take calcium/vit d3, magnesium, vitamin c&zinc combined and glucosamine. Would a Vitamin K2 or boron be beneficial?

Residual bruises
Has anyone found anything to help the residual bruises (iron deposits under the skin) left on your forearms? I am currently down to 3 mg. Prednisone but the old bruises remain - will anything help them go away? I've tried Vitamin E, Arnica, and witch hazel to no avail. I think some of the bruises

SUPPLEMENTING INTO (OR OUT OF) A HEALTHIER LIFE?
Okay, I realize most hypo or hyper thyroid patients take hormone pills, T4 or T3, NDT or combo’s of these. But, I also realize that vitamin supplementation is needed and, in fact some thyroid problems are, ostensibly performed by osteopaths that many claim have helped them considerably & a combination

THE USE OF MSM ( Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) & ANTICOAGULANTS , IS IT SAFE ?
I've been taking MSM capsules 500mg X 4 for many years for knee and rib pain. Is anyone else taking this supplement and what are your thoughts on it? Drugs.com shows no MSM, WebMd shows no interactions, other sites show the Arthritis Assoc. recommends that people on blood thinners avoid this BLOOD
