Glad you had a good appointment with your rheumy. My son who has lupus was told twice that he was being referred to physio and it was never done !! At his last app in January he asked about it again as he is now seeing the physio tomorrow, it’s worth checking up and pushing about referrals . Good luck with all Lou , I hope the job is still going well , best wishes x
Job is going well now I’m in the other class. I’m far less tired. I’m in bit of pain at moment because I had to stop my leflunomide. My steroids end this week😬😬 so I’m taking 500mg naproxen at the moment as well.
Lovely to read you had a good Rheumy appt. Do hope your liver behaves and lefufamide works now your back on it. I take nifedipine for Raynauds and it's improved my symptoms. It's been difficult to get it at pharmacies but my surgery keeps coming up with different brands of it but same drug so just something to be aware of. Also I take the slow release preparation as it gives better graded relief throughout the day!. Hope it does for you and you enjoy Benidorm!. Keep us postedXx
Oh that's good Lou, maybe the nifedipine supply problem is only some parts of the country!. Also good leflunimide will kick in sooner. Just right for Benidorm. Have a lovely time and careful in the sun. Xx
Glad to hear things are going well, hope liver ok.
I saw my consultant last week for Myositis/Scleroderma and he was pleased with me. I told him I had a painful hip and it was getting much worse, it hasn’t helped having a slight trip up a couple weeks ago where I knocked my grabber stick into the wall with my foot, the wall didn’t move so the hip took the brunt. He said I have bursitis and that sitting in chair doesn’t help all the time, he knows it’s difficult to move around a lot but very sympathetic. He suggested a steroid injection but will see how it goes for a bit longer, got more cushions on the recliner which is helping and doing my exercises.
Sorry to hear about your hip. I hope it’s better soon. I could of had steroid injection back in November but went for tablets. Only because I’m a bit of plonker sometimes in the moment.
Driving is going good. Did have a battery problem last month. I left a light on and I’m drained. Thankful a great friend jumped started it in the snow.
I then had to buy a new tyre because I had a slow puncture!! 😱
