First scan since stim injections started - full or empty bladder?

Hi i have my first scan on thursday since starting my gonal f injections to see how things are progressing. At my last meeting i was told to drink lots of water and not to pee as it helped the position of uterus. They told me i would be told this for lots of appointments. I got a reminder text about my appointment thursday fir scan and they said to have an empty bladder (wondering if is a typo). I have an hour and a half drive so does this mean i should drink some water on way up be there in time to pee just before going in for scan?

Hey hun, hmm that's strange I've never once been asked to empty or fill my bladder for a scan to check follies and I've had a few! The only time you need a full bladder is for embryo transfer. Not sure what that's all about maybe ring them to double check xxx

I’ve always been asked to make sure I have an empty bladder for my scans, in fact they ask me to go to the toilet as soon as I arrive. Might be worth a phone call to check
