No of ivf embryo transfers that led to bfp
Good evening all, hope you’re doing okay. I think it’s important to talk about the fact that ivf is not always a cure but is often talked about it in this way and can lead to unmanaged expectations. I for one thought it would work within the first 2 times because we are using donor sperm and I have pcos

IVF vs ICSI for borderline MFI
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on standard IVF vs ICSI if you have MFI but it’s not too bad? We conceived naturally 3 times…one early loss, one living daughter (4yo) and then a daughter we lost to PPROM/premature labour (2 years ago). After losing our daughter we TTC for

Male supplements for DNA fragmentation
We're gearing up for another FET (we've got one PGT-A tested embryo left). If it doesn't work, we've decided that we will do another round of egg collection. My husband has high DNA fragmentation and whilst I've had good egg numbers and fertilisation rate, we've only had one euploid embryo from each

Help! Struggling to get a diagnosis
To give you some background, I have suspected that I have an under active thyroid for about 20 years. It is the only thing that makes sense when I read the symptoms, I have practically all of them. In addition, my mother has an under active thyroid and my grandmother and great grandmother on my father

Anyone experience ectopics(Extra beats) with pain when anxious, stressed or intake stimulants? or is it just me?
I never
get
them while working out ot
active
, which is a good sign. Only when I'm sitting, standing and in a tense mood and also underslept. I guess I'm not the only person on the planet with this reaction to stress or caffeine or am I?

Is there anything I should do differently this time? Scheduled for FET after 3 failed fresh transfers
Hi everyone . I am 33 and been TTC for about 6 years. We have had 3 IVFs so far at 3 different clinics and have been unsuccessful with implantation. For the last cycle we had 3 embryos left which were frozen and I am scheduled to begin the FET transfer process tomorrow with the goserelin injection.

Starting again - please send me your best wishes
Hi everyone! Took a long break from here cos my last transfer failed and I have not found the strength to start again after 3 failed IVFs. I am starting the process for my FET tomorrow and trying to have faith and muster all the optimism I can find. In need of some positive energy and your best wishes

diabetes and embryo transfer
hi, I apologise for the multiple questions during the 2 week wait but I am overwhelmed with worries as this is my last chance. I have been diagnosed with type2 diabetes 2 years ago but my sugar levels were under control. Now after my transfer the levels have shot up and over the acceptable ranges throughout

2WW anyone?
I had a FET 5 days ago and cannot think about anything. I'm not feeling any symptoms so also nervous it hasn't worked. The thought of doing this all again is driving me mad and making me depressed. Any recommendations for trying to relax and think positively?

After FET
hi all, it’s day 1 after my FET and I have had diarrhoea all day. This is the third time this has happened and the previous 2 times didn’t work at all! I would say it’s the medication but been on the same dose for a week now and it seems to always happen after the transfer? Anyone else?

Gluten-free diet and vitamin D uptake in patients with Hashimoto disease
This paper demonstrates that gluten-free diets with Hashimoto's may have an influence on vitamin D uptake. Just a thing to be aware of. Gluten-free diet attenuates the impact of exogenous vitamin D on thyroid autoimmunity in young women with autoimmune thyroiditis: a pilot study October 2022

How bad is stress before FET?
Hi everyone, I've got my baseline scan tomorrow, and apart from having a relentlessly intense job, the last week has been horrific. My dad was rushed to hospital and was pretty close to not making it had he been left for any longer. My mum has found out for sure her cancer that has spread is incurable

Progesterone levels too LOW for 5weeks pregnant after FET?
*UPDATE* Be careful when using medichevks for progesterone checks if you handle progesterone and have medication in your fingers daily.!! I had a blood retest today as didn't believe the high figures that came back and it's back down to 50nmol 15ng/ml! Medichecks who did my bloods said occasionally
