I had a failed FET just last month, my second failed transfer, and I was wondering how many of you had taken good bacterial suppliments to help with implantation and which ones?
Ive read a lot about how it is good for your womb and helps with implantation but wasnt sure.
Any help/info would be great! xx

Hi there, I hope you don't mind my asking but we're the floragyn before a fet? If so did you take them just before the transfer or earlier? Wondering if I can take them alongside the progesterone suppositories!! Many thanks for any advice!
Hi! I took them a couple of weeks before the FET but my IVF clinic did say that generally, I could take probiotics if needed after too alongside the progesterone.
Yes - I had treatment with metronidazole which didn't work, then clindamyacin which seems to have done (I'm in the 2ww, so fingers crossed). The clinic prescribed both.
I used liquid probiotics by Holland and Barrett; the gold one. My embie stuck with that transfer and is laying next to me so I’ll be doing the same again for my next transfer. Best of luck x
ps I also used the canestan pessary as read some positive studies for FET’s using that one week before transfer. I’ve suffer with thrush on/off my whole life so knew I was imbalanced down there x
I hadn't heard about Canesflor when I did it and the studies I found specifically said Canesten Pessary so I just went with that. I hadn't heard of Canesflor until reading on here this year about it, so I think it might be a new thing/product.
I used the pessary 7 days before the FET as per the studies online. A good old google should help you find them. Best of luck x
Hi Anoncasper, after multiple failed transfers, I added it in and the embryos stuck. Did the same this time. My consultant said it would do no harm. I used Canesflor too. Used it for 8 days up to the night of my trigger injections. I'm only on day 1 after egg collection now. My previous cycle, I used it past egg collection.
