Next steps/where to get active b12 test?
I previously requested the following but was told I couldn't
get
them on the NHS: GPC antibodies,
Active
b12, Homocysteine, MMA, vit D, FT3, FT4. Any advice on next steps? I don't want to take a tablet and then mask a deficiency when my bloods are retaken.

Pbc and over active hydroid
I know it's common to
get
under
active
thyroid with pbc but haven't seen overactive and pbc. Wondering if anyone also has this or knows any correlation? Thanks Natasha

Week 5 underway #2 completed
After a 'chat' with my GP after routine blood tests (the usual suspects- high cholesterol and prediabetes) I decided it was time to
get
off the couch,
get
active
and ensure I have a rather different chat with the GP next time. Well here I am after week 5 run 2 and I am loving it.

NRC 10k plan: Week 4 Run 1 (and a bit more :) )
Too much sitting in a car meant my IT band and medial arch were bothering me a bit but I know from experience that both of these issues tend to go away when I
get
active
. The first run for Week 4 is a 30 minute recovery run, so off we went towards the forest. It's been so long since I've run here.

Lupus re-diagnosis UCTD
Hello All, so when I last posted I had been to the rheumatologist Prof X and told my bloods were not suggestive of lupus but he did not suggest want condition could be the underlying cause of my symptoms. This morning he chose not to see me, instead I saw a very nice female doctor in clinical research

Suboxone/oxy update
After feeling poorly with joint and muscle pain, I decided to go off suboxone and back to oxy as an experiment. Disaster! although before suboxone, I had been easily comfy on 5 mg of oxycodone 2 to 2 times a day (albeit with breakthrough RLS in the middle of the night), this was no longer the case

I’m confused 😕
Isn’t the serum C reactive protein meant to be raised when we have an autoimmune disease like hashimotos? mine isn’t 🤔 Or is it just the TPO that is raised? Thanks in advance for any help with this…

private testing
hi all, I hope you’re well. I’d like to ask about the finger prick home tests that Blue Horizon offers. How are they able to check all of the below markers with such a small blood sample? I’m aware that containers are super small and they claim to be testing a lot: Inclusions: TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4

An Eventful January Update - Pacemaker Delayed
Hello, I could sense trouble brewing last Friday when one of my knees became inflamed to the point I could barely walk over the weekend.
