hey, so I finally had my first FET on Tuesday (7feb) and I’m feeling cramping like I’m going to get my periods (started Thursday evening on and off)! In my head I’ve already convinced myself this prob won’t work first time but wondering if anyone had a successful FET have similar cramping or is my periods just on the way!
For info I would normally start getting cramps a week before and technically would be due them mid next week! This wait is torture!
hi I’m new as well and will check your timeline. Congratulations on your FET Iv seen ladies here saying they are having cramps after FET &it’s normal. Keep the faith and tell yourself what is meant to be will be.
I went for mine on Thursday have slight cramps, bloating & my boobs are sore don’t even know how to explain the pain. I guess it is from the procedure & all the meds. The worst one is that Iv just been nauseous the whole day today and actually puked earlier. In my head it is way too early for such.
Thanks. I will test again on Saturday. I no longer have any symptoms and my mind is telling me that I’m out already. Anyway, I will still try to keep my hope alive
oh jeez mind yourself hope all works out for you ❤️! I had no issues after the FET (only migraines as my body adjusted to meds). Just cramping now but can’t tell if it’s pre period cramps. I’m starting to learn to be patient in this process … I think… I know this embaby may not implant but just curious of other’s experience with cramping!
Thank you and baby dust to you!!! I agree we need to learn patience because this process on its own is difficult. We must just keep the faith & stay positive. What is meant to be will be. I mean there’s absolutely nothing we can do to change the outcome at this stage. When is your OTD?
I had cramping like this with my successful FET! Felt nothing at all with the unsuccessful one. But all the drugs affect everyone differently, so it's difficult to compare.
yep I’m learning to not assume anything in the process and try live in moment! I’m Just so curious what others felt because u can google things to get 6 different answers!
And… congrats on your successful FET I hope your journey is going well ❤️
Hi I had period like cramping in my 2ww for fresh transfer was convinced it hadn't worked and AF was coming told my husband it was all over and was really upset. But AF didn't come and now I'm nearly 35 weeks. Try not to worry or symptom spot as it will drive you crazy! Try and find something to keep your mind busy read a book, binge watch something, try a new hobby, plan nice treats and activities for yourself and your partner. Good luck x
I've just had a BFP today and I was convinced I was out because I've had cramping all week (bad enough to take paracetamol at times). I hope it works out for you x
congratulations to you, so happy for you wishing you a safe & smooth pregnancy. Thank you for giving us hope,I have so much respect for anyone who has been through the 2WW.
Hi NervousWreckBaby, I had my first FET on 1st Feb. I was getting the cramping feeling you get before a period too. I found out Sunday that I’m pregnant! I hope that gives you some hope. Wishing you the best of Luck!
hey! I had my FET on Tuesday 7th feb- I stupidly tested 8days post transfer and got a negative.. I think maybe too early but I just don’t know! This is my 2nd FET- 1st was July 2022 ended up in a MC at 6weeks x
I honestly think ppl who are able to wait till OTD are very disciplined and strong. I’m in the same boat as you🙈im on day 8 post transfer and I tested negative. My OTD is on day 12 I couldn’t wait.
I just did another this morning 10dpt - negative . I think I’m out now.. my test day is Monday 20th at 13 days. Just had a massive cry and got back into bed. Got DH family around tonight. I just can’t face ut
I’m so sorry hang in there, the wait will be over soon. I’m just easing myself into it. There’s a lady that tested negative till she did a blood test. So I guess it is not over until it is confirmed by bloods. You are allowed to cry and go through the emotions. Glad you have support around you.Sending you love & light
I’m having loads of cramping, in crease in peeing but I habve learnt no to read into the symptoms too much as meds can do this!! The wait is killing me! Xxx
