Free emergency counseling helplines US
Hi all! Someone recently posted a few links and numbers as a reply to someone with places to call if you are in a crisis. I can’t find that post now. Asking for a friend. ;). Seriously, I just want to have them handy. What places have you called in the US that are free?

Chronic pain and family
Family can be a life jacket in the stormy sea of life..!!.. Talking about our problems is at greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about your joys…. famous quote by Rita schiano I, personally agreed to this to some extent, but in case of chronic illness ( I read this in context to chronic pain patients

Counseling letdown
So I was suppose to have a counseling appointment 25mins ago, yet no counselor. I saw someone enter during the time my appointment was suppose to start. Accidental double booking possibly? I don't know, but this isn't the first time this has happened (previously witha different counselor). Makes opening

Not Properly Grieving
I have suffered from anxiety since I was a child. I am very familiar with them both. However, a little over two years ago I lost my dad after a nasty battle with cancer. I went to counseling when he went on hospice and went to one session after he died (insurance reasons). I realize that the past couple

I saw a gynaecologist in May who to be quite frank painted a very bleak picture about things. I have been fighting hard not to let this bother me but in truth I have had

A surprise
The virtual assembly is ongoing today and tomorrow. Open to all this year on virtual platform. This one presentation on two (competing /exclusive) driver pathways (ERG and SPOP) surprised me: Does this open the possibility for genetic testing to determine if the cancer will respond to androgen deprivation

Docetaxel question
Having my last infusion of Provenge today. Just finished appointment with MO. He talked about docetaxel. He said when I start that, I will get an infusion every 3 weeks until it stops working. This is different than what I expected. I thought it was usually 6 infusions then done ??? Also blood

I’ve been seeing my SW therapist two+ years and he is amazing. I trust him so much and he got me through a lot of things. For the last few months I’ve been having a tough time talking, expressing my feelings, being completely open. I talk about facts “my brother died suddenly and I’m his executor and
