Prickly pains in abdomen
Three small columns of oesophageal varices and moderately severe portal hypertensive
gastritis
were found during my gastroscopy on 26th May. I've been having strange prickly pains in my abdomen for a few weeks now.

Internal Bleeding
Hallo :) On June 13th, I underwent a gastroscopy, which showed the presence of hiatus hernia and hypertensive portal gastropathy, as well as
gastritis
. Multiple duodenal biopsies were taken at that time, which were normal.

Gastritis with reflux.
Hi all. Started with epigastric pain last week, so automatically related it to my IBS. On diagnosis of reflux (which I have realised I may have had for a lot longer than I realised!), the doctor says it's not related to my IBS. However, I have had type 5 stools from a couple of days before the epigastric

Another worry - rapid gut transit digesting / undigested food
Hi all, I can't shake this stress and anxiety which is accompanying my most recent flare, and potentially a bought of
gastritis
. My stools were all over the shop last week, mostly loose, some very runny - up to 3 times a day. Just to add, I had normal bloods and stools back 6 weeks ago.

My first encounter with TB, cervical lymphaditis tuberculosis....PART ONE
For acute
gastritis
, I used to take 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with water, it gives me immediate relief from
gastritis
but later on it causes nausea and vomiting, but I found it better than acute

Difficulties treating gastritis
Hi, I’d been taking famotidine for more than three months and have now been taking omeprazole for almost 4 weeks to deal with upper stomach pain as well as a strong acid taste in my mouth. They’ve both helped a bit but I’m still having pain and acid taste. Given all the problems that can arise from

Does this sound like IBS? Lower back pain!
My GP said this sounded like
Gastritis
or IBS and ordered me to do a series of blood tests and a stool sample, all of which have been completely normal. Should I be pushing for further testing or is this what life with IBS/IBD feels like?

Ongoing problems 8 months since surgery
It subsided very suddenly after 20 minutes, I started to get stomach burning and ended up with a 3-day episode of
gastritis
(which I've had 3 times in the past year – awful gnawing pain in the stomach with nausea, vomiting, and distension).

People of HU - Microvascular Angina: Zora's Story
After various tests, which were either normal or nothing significant was found (aside from mild
gastritis
), I began to relax a bit more and carried on with my life as it had been prior to this episode.
