Chronic abdominal pain

Diagnosed with bile gastritis reflux 6 months ago after scope

Pain still the same upper abdominal pain and bloating

Currently on lansoprazole, atorvastatin and clopidogrel on prescription. I buy Co-codamol 8/500 from chemist for the pain which I take when it gets too bad .

Not sure if there’s anything else I can take or should I try the doctor again

Any advice much appreciated.

My advice would be to keep pestering your GP. Bile reflux, bloating and upper abdominal pain could be symptoms of gall stones.

Hi thanks for your reply .At the same time as the scope I got a ultrasound scan and it was clear and recently had blood tests after my increase in atorvastatin to 80 mg and that was okay as well But doing sum research on dr Google not sure if it’s down to all this medication I’m on .

Hi Nesting. I changed from lansoprazole to esomeprazole and find it better for heartburn but I still get right side discomfort under ribs and shoulder blade. I had ultrasound scan and gastroscope and was diagnosed with mild duodenitis

Hi and thanks for your reply Yes it’s a job to know what to do , just keep plodding on or try the doctor again
