Hi all. Started with epigastric pain last week, so automatically related it to my IBS. On diagnosis of reflux (which I have realised I may have had for a lot longer than I realised!), the doctor says it's not related to my IBS. However, I have had type 5 stools from a couple of days before the epigastric pain started.
Any similar stories? It could just be being ill does affect my IBS sometimes.
Thank you.

Sorry Mithical have not got reflux. But do get stool type 5 every now and again which is part of my IBS d. Wish you well in your search for a diagnosis 🤞
Thanks for your reply. Yes I get type 5 also, but not for 2 weeks. But doesn't seem to be related to the reflux. Now had an ultrasound, awaiting bloods and a helicobacter pylori test.
