Stopping Prolia after one injection?
I`m afraid that getting the second injection will force me to continue with Prolia for very long time (my age 52) with no safe way to stop, due to the high occurrence of the "rebound" effect with multiple
fractures
. I started with Prolia due to Osteoporosis with few vertebral
fractures
.

Advice needed please.
Hi guys, Looking for some advice and experiences that may help. My Father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in march 2014 with a PSA of 433. First round of ADT got his PSA down to 0.23. He has since done three rounds of intermittent hormone therapy since, and he is currently on Zytiga and Firmagon

Mixed training running techniques
So my gym classes claim that they can burn more calories doing a HIIT class in 30 minutes then I would on a tread mill by raising the heart rate and doing circuit interval style resistance training. I am not sure what everyone’s thoughts on this are as my local running group also do something similar

Xtandi for Third Time
An update. After second round of Docetaxel/Carboplatin chemo (12 total infusions, 6 per round), we are again rechallenging with Xtandi. Had it first back in 2016 for about 12 months until cancer found a workaround. In early 2018 after chemo, Xtandi rechallenge brought PSA down from 1.3 to .7 for

PSA still rising.
I am stage IV metastatic PC. Had PSMA scan 8/18 showing lymph node involvement. Started Firmagon 10/18. T and PSA went way down. MO switched to Lupron 12/18. Since then T staying around 20, but PSA continues to rise - doubled from .35 to .7 in last 4 months. Due to go back on Firmagon in 2 weeks, but

The big decision
No one knows of course, I would like to know if there is any evidence of vertebral
fractures
. I have had episodes of severe back pain and spasms in the past and still have recurrent back pain and fairly severe neck pain, especially associated with long periods of standing or with heavy lifting.

If you could only choose 2 - 3 supplements
My dad is not a type of person who would take dozens od different supplements. His compliance to the regime would be 0. But taking 2 -3 would work. If you could only take 2-3, which ones would you take? I already bought Modified Citrus Pectin (Econugenics), and I'm looking to add 2 -3. I'm looking at

Zytiga Problems
Hello all, it’s been about 6 months since I’ve posted. So my sweet Dad has had 6 rounds of taxotere, did amazingly well. He’s now had 3 Lupron injections and will continue with those. He just started Zytiga 2 weeks ago. Says with the Zytiga he basically feels like shit. Cloudy, fatigued, in a funk basically

Calcium Oronate
I have osteoporosis. I presently take a calcium citrate supplement (together with vitamins K2-7, D3 and other supplements) to try to strengthen my bones or at least stop further deterioration. This is as an alternative to taking medication as I am afraid of the many side effects. I have just read that

Apologies for the foot picture - could this be a stress fracture?? ☹️
So first off, sorry for posting a foot picture 😳 Help!!! Today I’ve noticed bruising to my 2nd metatarsal. No pain yesterday whilst running my first post graduation consolidation run. No pain today until I got home from work and wore flip flops and even then it wasn’t much. Bit of an ache now but not

Week 5 run 3
Interesting week! Started with being told the runs would change. All the way through my 3x5mins I wanted to know what was next. The answer came on weds with 2x8mins! Stupidly hot runs but all done and looking at a 20min run with interest and not fear. Then went out and did 27000 steps on a rest day!
