Sorry for passing this on? Genetic Osteoarthritis? but trying to get to relevant 'audience'?
A condition passed through my mother's side of the family, my mother had it in her hands, she was an excellent sculptor, painter, etc, it affected her hands, very sore, I was living at home with my parents, the last of five children, unfortunately I have epilepsy [disabled all my life] I was on Topamax

Fosamax While Taking Pred
My Rheumy told me I need to take
Fosamax
to prevent Osteoporosis while I'm taking Prednisone. Do others take this or just take Calcium, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 Supplements?

Osteoporosis help naturally, no meds!
I was diagnosed this last June and would love input from others as I refused the medication
Fosamax
but decided to improve my situation naturally through healthy eating, exercises and supplements. Changed from Calcium carbonate to citrate, added K2 for better calcium absorption.

CGRP Inhibitors and RLS
I am looking for a migraine prophylactic that will not aggravate RLS. I can't handle the side-effects of Topamax and bradycardia keeps the Dr. from increasing my beta blocker dosage. Several here have pointed out how anti-depressants typical make RLS worse and I've read some articles that indicate they

Alcoholism
Hi.Another member from the mental support forum suggested joining. My alcoholism came on quite suddenly, just after my Father passed away on 04/04/2022. Then 1 month later I had to have a heart operation. Since then my life has literally fallen apart. I used to be very physically active, dinghy

FINALLY had my 1st Neurologist appointment today…..
and I don’t like my Doctor. He kept cutting me off and kept saying everything is due to Migraines or COVID or premenopausal. Kinda being condescending. Like half the symptoms I said he would say oh we all have that! even me! For example: muscle twitching, stabbing pains everywhere,, shaking, Major fatigue

Gabapentin
Hi everyone. Does anyone have experience with gabapentin for anxiety and depression? Some background. My Father passed away in March 2022, which left me devastated. I was then diagnosed with a heart condition requiring a stent. Since then I have really been struggling. I used to be very fit and active

HELP! I'm New to osteoporosis - should I take meds?
Fosamax
? Prolia? I really what to be able to turn this around. I've upped my calcium and vit D and my treadmill walking and added more resistance and some hand weights. I work at a full-time sit down job. Just don't know what is enough and who to trust.

Just a thanks for the education.
Six months ago my GP told me I had osteoporosis and recommended I take
fosamax
. I said I want to talk to my dentist first. dentist not thrilled with this drug, especially people having to wait months for dental surgery so I decided no.

Experience with Actonel or Fosamax
Has anyone experience taking Actonel or
Fosamax
without esophageal symptoms? Did you take it daily, weekly or monthly? Also, what improvement has your DEXA scan shown? My physician says she has just started taking Actonel and is encouraging me to do so.

Aps and topamax?
I was diagnosed with aps years ago after being diagnosed with lupus before that. I had a dvt and pulmonary embolism and have since been on warfarin for the past 6 years. I recently saw a weight loss dr to try to get some help getting some stubborn weight off and she prescribed me phentermine/topamax
