Aps and topamax?
I was diagnosed with aps years ago after being diagnosed with lupus before that. I had a dvt and pulmonary embolism and have since been on warfarin for the past 6 years. I recently saw a weight loss dr to try to get some help getting some stubborn weight off and she prescribed me phentermine/topamax

Curveball: Actemra and Fosamax!
He said even if I turn down the Actemra (tocilizumab) I should definitely take
Fosamax
because I have osteopenia. But I also have Barrett's Esophagus and think
Fosamax
could make it considerably and dangerously worse.

Recently suffering with frequent seizures
does anyone else have this problem? If so what meds are helping you? I was diagnosed w APS when I was 15 after having a small stroke, I’ve had a few DVT’s and PE’e and late term losses since. I had my first seizure in my early 20s and then only had them every couple of years. Now at 36 in 2022 I’ve had

My last bonescan, one year ago showed bone loss getting worse- endocrinologist suggested various medications like
Fosamax
or various shots. I read that taking Algae Calcium plus strontium boost helps build bone mass. Has Any one has any one experimented with these vitamins?

Castration Resistant Stage 4 Advanced Prostate Cancer Therapy Update - Starting EBRT and Xofigo Today
We don't have the results back yet from a bone density test that I took yesterday to determine the dosage of
Fosamax
needed to prevent bone fractures. (I found out that taking one
Fosamax
70mg oral tablet once a week is standard dose.)

Alendronate/fosamax part 2
In 2014, after taking alendonate for (?) 5+ years, my left femur broke as I walked down a very slight slope. I have a intramedullary pin running from hip to knee. In 2020, on March 3, after not taking AA for nearly 6 years, I stood up to get off the bus, and my right femur broke, same reason. Now

Reversing osteoporosis naturally.
I was very afraid and thought the
Fosamax
had crippled me. Needless to say, after such a terrible experience, my husband & I scoured the internet partly checking out other people’s reactions to
Fosamax
and partly looking for ideas on alternative ways to combat osteoporosis.

Weighloss?
Just checking to see if others are experiencing a small albeit constant weight loss on Ropinerol? I also take Topamax for chronic migraine. Have been taken both for just over a year now and have lost all appetite. Nearly 4 stones in weight during this year, and I do eat some very naughty food like everyone

Drugs or Natural Choice for Osteoporosis
Hi, I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and was not able to take
Fosamax
so Zoledronic Acid (Reclast) has been prescribed. I am not sure about having these yearly infusions due to some risky side affects and unknowns I have read about.

Hair loss with Fosamax
I am supposed to begin taking weekly
Fosamax
soon. I just read several posts about hair loss while taking this drug. Has anyone experienced hair loss as a result of taking only
Fosamax
(not taking other prescription drugs)? Thank you.

Medication for Osteopenia with Parkinson’s
Fosamax
is out of the question due to its affect on the bones. VitD, A, E are already in the mix, but wonder if anyone in this forum has/is on any prescribed medication for prevention of it developing into Osteoporosis?

First, he recommended
Fosamax
but after reviewing blood work and further discussions with me (no other risk factors) decided to put me on Vitamin D3 5000 IU daily,(I am on 2000 now), and Calcium 1200 mg through diet (no supplements) and of course Weight-bearing exercise program (which I'm doing it anyway

Finding the right doctor
My advise so far is take
Fosamax
or Prolia without any deep discussion to determine how I feel about it, my life style, diet, etc. If it turns out I must go the med route I will, but not blindly.

In Need of a Trainer
Internist has recommended
Fosamax
, but the side affects are daunting. Would like to see if exercise will help without the drugs. How do I go about finding an appropriate trainer in my area? Any ideas?

Fosamax side effects
Fosamax
was useless. I continued to deteriorate. Waiting to get on Forteo as my osteoporosis is severe. Being on thyroid medication also seems to be a waste despite dose and brand not getting better. The doctor claims no other issues.
