My "Osteoporosis" Journey
A sister-in-law was taking
Fosamax
but had to discontinue because of side effects (I don’t know what the side effects were). I have done a lot of reading.

(In addition to Pred I’m taking 2.5 mg rosuvastatin and
fosamax

Supplements for Osteopenia/Osteoporosis
I don't want to take the
Fosamax
or anything similar. I have issues with my stomach. Are there any natural supplements that have been shown to help?

Anyone had a similar experience, non stop migraines for 3 months, eye deterioration, muscles problems, fatigue, vertigo and brainfog?
I have been suffering from brainfog, fatigue and problems with balance for over a year, then I started getting muscle problems with numbness in my arms, which I put down to stiff neck problems. In sept I felt my eyes were deteriorating and words on screen 'dancing'. I had an eye test in Nov and told

Thoughts on Fosamax
Does anyone have information on
Fosamax
? I just had a bone density done and now Dr wants to add another drug. I’m on 20 mil of prednisone and I know it’s making my bones worse. Looking for an alternative. Having a hard day today.

Functional Neurological Disorder - Mostly sensory
Hi! I'm new here. I think I have functional neurological disorder. My neurologist didn't state it in those terms, but she explained it as a human brain is like software and my brain has a glitch, even though the hardware seems ok. A little background knowledge. I'm 39, born with nearly complete deafness

I read that certain drugs like
Fosamax
interact negatively with Prednisone. Also does anyone wear weights? If so, what type? Open to any advice. Thanks so much.

Topamax for migraines with insomnia nightmares anxiety
Hi there, I tried topamax this week for migraine control. I wanted to lose the weight I have put on using ampitryptiline and proprananol. So thought I would reduce propranonal and start topamax in consultation with doctor. I kept the ampitrypltyline as its only 25 mg a night and keeps my meningitis induced

Saw my Neuro today for my 6 month recheck. First I'm surprised he didn't do any bloodwork for my Tecfidera...he did in the beginning at 3 months but nothing today. What has helped your pain the most after VM?
I thought i would start a little post about what has helped me get thru the past months. I see us all suffer so much and there could be knowledge one of us has that someone else doesnt. We all help each other right! For me, I added glucosamine and magnesium supplements to my daily intake. (Calcium

Topamax
Anyone find any success with 50mg of Topamax a day? Had relief of chronic daily headache/migraine at 75mg but side effects were intolerable. Dropping to 50mg daily to see if it still works without the awful side effects.

What are your thoughts
My neurologist is helping me come off ropinerole, at my request. She has put me on Topamax and I’m now down to .25 ropinerole once nightly ( from 2) and hoping to eliminate that by the end of the week ( we’ll see) question is, what are your thoughts on topomax? Am I jumping from the frying pan to the

Topamax/Topiramate
I've just started taking Topamax for chronic daily headache, i'm almost a week in on 1 25mg tablet per day and so far i'm floored, tired and groggy all of the time. I was woozy and dizzy for the first couple of days but that has worn off thankfully. I have been taking my tablet in the morning and wondered
