Does anyone have any info on Topamax? I have been getting migraines and that might be the treatment for me? Thank in advance

There were a couple of early studies that suggested that Topiramate (TPM) (Topamax) could help RLS, and indeed that it could be more effective than other treatments.

However, there have also been a couple of later reports/studies that it can exacerbate movement disorders/RLS.

ChrisColumbus is right that Topamax in some cases make RLS worse. A better option for your migraines is Valproic Acid which also may help RLS.

I suffer from Migrains. I take Maxalt. It works well for me and doesn’t trigger my legs at all. I don’t know about Topomax but if it doesn’t work then Maxalt may be an option for you,
