Where do I go from here??
I have Psoriatic Arthritis. After 3 years at rheumatology I was discharged back to my gp, because I was drug intolerant, that was about two or three years ago. Since then I have only been prescribed ibuprofen. I am still in pain but not much swelling.I happened to see my old rheumatologist last November

Duloxetine and Amitriptyline - Adrenal Fatigue
After 6 months I moved over to
Fluoxetine
, as I suspected the adrenalin levels in my body had been upset by the duloxetine.

New Year, new me...?
Anyhow, I saw my GP yesterday and I've agreed to try medication for my severe depression and anxiety (
Fluoxetine
20mg). I have resisted medication up to this point but given the severity of my depression, I felt I have to throw everything at it.

B12d, FM, VitD or all three???
GP said
Fluoxetine
is to help lift pain threshold of FM which is constant but I note this is also prescribed for depression. Have also been prescribed Co-Codamol as and when needed.

Fibro fog
I have suffered from Fibrofog for nearly 3 years. I am 39 years old. It is horrible to deal with sometimes. When I spoke to doc he looked at me confused. I have seen a neurologist and had a Cat scan and nothing which is good. Neurologist told my doc to put me on Duloxetine 60mg and this is everyday.

Need some help and advice
I'm 22 and have been on anti depressants (
fluoxetine
) and anti anxiety tablets (propanolol) since I was 18. I lost my job around 6 months ago and am having trouble with finances and debt this has made my symptoms 100 times worse and recently have been prescribed sleeping tablets.

He was just putting my symptoms down to depression & raising my

Saying hello!
Hi everyone Sorry I haven't been on here much in recent weeks (months?). Lots of mainly good things happening so I'm feeling reasonably ok in mood. Since going on Duloxetine for fibromyalgia I am generally in a lot less pain which helps my mood which is also better anyway as the med is an anti-depressant

i'm scratching my head at the moment, wondering how to get better sleep, i'm waking up and finding it difficult to find the off switch. i'm trying to do some reading and see if the
fluoxetine

The nurse from my Pain clinic is suggesting this drug for chronic pain combined with Tramadol . Has anyone taken it for pain. I don't like what I am reading online as I am wondering if there is another agenda here. Because I kept crying, I'm a very weepy person , she kept talking about low mood and suggesting

Visit to GP - Update
One thing he didn't suggest was that I should stop taking
fluoxetine
. I've recently read on here how this type of drug can make RLS worse or even cause it. I know that's not the case for me as I've had it since I was a child.
