I might regret saying that since my first shot 3 months ago gave me
flu
symptoms for a day. If I feel great tomorrow and have no
flu
like symptoms, will that mean........... wait for it................ I got used to................ wait for it............... taking it in the ass?

This morning I woke up and thought about how these very sophisticated Covid vaccines are not 100% effective. 95% is a very effective success rate considering that the seasonal
flu
shot is less than 50% effective.

CLL and covid vaccine - efficacy and side effects?
I had a
flu
shot this year that made my lymph nodes swell and sore for about 2 months. I'm wondering what to expect when I get my scheduled covid vaccine in a month.

Had my vaccine yesterday. I’m on W&W since I was diagnosed February 2020. I feel no one seems to know how much protection we CLLers have????
I had the Oxford vaccine, I have had no side effects which I’m surprised as I normally have a bad reaction to the
flu
jab painful arm and swollen. I asked the nurse if it would give me any protection with having CLL she said you should have some protection?

Phew! I can still run across the bridge .....
I've not run further than 5k since 7th Feb, when I did a gentle 10k with Dexy5, and more importantly since I had the 1 in 10
flu
-like side effects following my first Covid jab a few days later.

Covid vaccine
Now 4days later arm still tender to touch but no worse than
flu
jab. Was very anxious before and took Cetirizine as recommended. Also carried my epipens! Vaccinators not terribly interested but I had filled in an on line form asking mainly about anaphylaxis and alkergy to other vaccines.

Covid vaccine with active EGPA
By 5pm I was feverish temp 38.8 and
flu
like symptoms. I am in benralizumab and newly introduced mycophenolate. The former takes out the eosinophils and the latter the T cells. I have just finished IV steroids I wonder if anyone else had any post Covid vaccine reaction?

Friday vaccine - quick update
I felt kind of
flu
-ish in bed - a little hot and shivery, but nothing too bad, and my arm was too sore to lie on, but I had no problem dropping off to sleep. Saturday: just a mild headache which passed Today: just a sore arm which seems to be improving every day.

Bad reaction to vaccine
Hi all, Yesterday morning I had the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and by the evening I had the usual
flu
jab side effects - headache, stiff neck, a bit achey. By bedtime I was getting worse and then I woke up to full blown
flu
symptoms in the night.

Why dont Asthma UK product merchandise ?
I think I was a bit anxious but it went well , now I'm home and not even a sore arm ( I never get a sore arm with
flu
innoculations) It's been seven hours and I feel ok , we ( us two ) have had our tea and even a wine.

How to stop becoming unwell after physical activity?
My biggest issue with this condition is that I cannot exercise/be physically active without developing cold&
flu
like symptoms within the next 48 hours. I get really sick and end up in bed for the next 1-2 weeks as a result.

Flu-BLAST PC study
Flu
-BLAST PC research Through Fred Hutchinson. I've been somewhat accepted into this trial by my MO with SCCA, formerly from Hutch. After reading the criteria for inclusion, I'm not sure I qualify. Stated req is that PSADT >/=3 months, using MSK nomogram.

How will the Vaccine affect those with Chronic Pain/Fatigue?
I have heard that if you are generally ok with the '
flu
jab' then you should be ok with the vaccine, I'll let you know how i get on; but if anyone has any insight I'd love to hear. Remember and be kind to yourselves, stay safe, keep well and be strong everyone!

Interferon
Starting it soon kind of scared cause I heard it causes depression and anxiety, also
flu
like symptoms. Anyone else experienced anything like that while on interferon?
