Blood test
Had both Covid and
flu
jabs yesterday. Lipase blood test due today. I've been searching to see if it's wise. Leave it 48 hours is all I can see after a long search. Any advice if you've been in that position. I didn't do my weekly Benipali jab yesterday .

PMR for 10 years
, Last week I got my annual
flu
jab, and within2 days, I was rocking some wicked pain in my shoulders, hips, and wrists. ( This is not new, it happens every time I get a
flu
vaccine or Covid jab., and whenever I rock my little boat with outside stress, change medications, etc.)

advice help please…doctor say, wear and tear it’s your thyroid your old and think…go away and die quietly.
Re occurrence of
flu
type symptoms like viral infections which previous says oh well it’s just the thyroid causing it. She has a low immune system nothing we can do! This has been going on for years without no real action.

I’ve got a
flu
vaccination booked for this Saturday and a Covid vaccination booked for Monday. I’m now a bit unsure if I should have them this close together or leave a gap in between each. Has anyone got experience with this? ☺️

Temporary Asthma
Fever,
Flu
and brutal cough and then started feeling shortness of breath with strange pinched pressure on my left lung and when I inhaled I could hear crackles. I visited chest physician he said its hyperactivity of airways and gave me symbicort for 2 weeks with montelukast.

Having a Covid Booster vaccination and Flu vaccination at the same time with Lupus (SLE)
Hi everyone, I need to get a Covid booster vaccination and also a
Flu
jab. The WHO suggests that it’s safe to have both vaccinations at the same time (in different arms) but I was wondering if there was anyone here with personal experience of having SLE and getting both of these vaccinations.

Chest infection
My husband who has been on 200mg of Venetoclax for two years now has been ill since New years day, first the doctor thought
flu
because his chest sounded pretty clear however she gave him 7 days amoxacillan just to be on the safe side, covid tests negative, he has now got a full blown chest infection

out of hospital after pneumonia
I am due to have
flu
jab on Saturday. Is it safe to have? Spoke to nurse who administers jab and she reckons its ok. Should I increase my steroids again under sick day rules when having
flu
jab? Sorry for long post but very confused with how to progress.

IVIG while having ET?
I stopped peg and went with no treatment for 2 months then started HU and the neuropathy and the sick
flu
feeling has remained constant with few exceptions. The sick
flu
feeing is a daily occurrence often starting as soon as I open my eyes in the morning until I go to bed at night.

Home at last!
Don't know, they say hospitals no longer test for Covid, they now treat it as just another
flu
bug. That took another week, then another 4 weeks to recover from lying in bed for weeks... And now I need to recover from the trauma of that long in hospital... Urrrrggghhhhhhhhh!

Help! on Pro-stap, tibolone HRT brought back endo pain!? Made me so unwell - anyone relate??
Decided to start tibolone HRT 10 weeks into the injections and it caused awful period/endo pain, spotting,
flu
type symptoms on and off. Only lasted 3 weeks and GP told me to stop immediately after calling them about it, I was bed bound!

Covid and under active thyroid
I have just had covid for first time, and it hit me pretty badly, like a bad
flu
. My glands felt really swollen during it, particularly before, and still do. I'm also so tired. Sleeping a lot. Feel sluggish. Fat for no reason and constipated.

B12 deficiency and bronchitis
I am on weekly B12 injections (have had 1 last week so far) I was told that I should have treated my
flu
1st. I don’t know if this means I will be sicker for longer. I am also terrified that my symptoms are down to something else.

Severe reaction to Targinact - please help
I thought I was ill due to a seasonal
flu
/cold, but I now think the sickness, shaking, diarrhoea, nausea, rapid breathing and complete loss of appetite is a result of the Targinet - all of the symptoms are 1 in 10 'common reactions'. I'm scared to take it and I am scared not to take it.

Do many of you just feel Ill when off?
It’s a sort of ‘
flu
like’ feeling that comes when I’m off. It might be linked somehow to fatigue but I find it quite debilitating. I just wondered if anyone else got this unpleasant feeling? I don’t hear it discussed much on the site.

Respiratory Infections
We know it’s the
flu
season and the unmentionable, but having a cough which has recently turned into a bit of a nasty chest infection, apparently there are some of these respiratory infections about! Not to scare anyone just to make people aware. Take care, Judi

Covid booster..good news story
I thought I'd post to say I had both my Covid booster (my 7th covid jab to date) and my
flu
jab on Sat. I had a slightly sore arm, and that was it. The least reaction I've had to date. BTW I was Pfizered, like in the spring. I hope the rest of you who are having these get away as lightly xxxx

My Grim anniversary, Vaccine Type and Timing
I invite comments on the below: In the past there was just an annual
flu
shot and its timing was just "sometime in the fall". No other annual shots were specified in this time period. Now there are three,
Flu
, Covid, and RSV. So how to time them is suddenly important.
