Hello everyone, happy weekend, it’s just a heads up really, and you may already be aware. We know it’s the flu season and the unmentionable, but having a cough which has recently turned into a bit of a nasty chest infection, apparently there are some of these respiratory infections about! Not to scare anyone just to make people aware. Take care, Judi

Respiratory Infections
Ah thanks for making us aware of this I've had my flu one so glad cause nearly died from it few years ago 💔. But so far so good this year, thought I was catching a cold the other day but that seems to of gone thank goodness x
So glad you are okay. That must have been a very scary experience for you 🤗
Having my Flu one tomorrow.
Hi, not sure why you have reposted my post? Is it to share with another group?
Thanks, Judi. I’ve had both my doses for this season, but will still be wary around coughers!
Hi, me too!Coughers and sneezers are everywhere! Especially on the buses! Being in Liverpool, the city is yet again filled with uni students, do you think they even cover their mouth whilst spluttering their germs about? No of course!
Will have to start giving the public transport wide berth...and risk being knocked down on the pavement by scooters and cyclists! 😡
Have a lovely weekend!😊
Monica
Good morning Judi. Thanks for the warning. I have had a morning cough since January and can't get rid of it. Take care and hope you keep safe and warm. Brian
Thank you. I have 2 jabs booked next Saturday. Mum in law in hospital with pneumonia at mo & has very weak heart so desperately worried 😞 stay safe.
Hi thanks for the heads up I have my flu and the unmentionable one next month. Char
Hope you keep well Jud ... there's a lot of it about at this time of year !Flu and corona type virus' are doing their rounds!
No fear mongering at all intended hearties need to take care x
Thank you, Heyjude31 for the heads up. I had my flu shot on Monday. I usually have little, to no, reaction to a flu shot, but this time I did. For three days, I had a fevered area on my arm at the injection site, a lump about the size of a small egg, and some arm pain. It was unusual to have this reaction, but I’m glad to have the shot.
For two years now, I have received the stronger dose of the flu shot for those 65+. Maybe that accounts for my stronger reaction to the shot this year.
Again, thank you for the heads up. ❤️
