Hi everyone.. hoping for some reassurance/advice. I have been taking seven seas orange cod liver oil for about a month or so. Last weekend found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. I continued to take the oil for the last week but today have read you're not supposed to take cod liver oil while pregnant due to

Should I have my own antibodies tests done while I wait for my endo appointment?
To try and remedy my state, I have gone gluten and dairy free, and am taking Acetly-L-Carnitine, ferrous sulphate, folate, B12, D, B6, A, C, Selenium and lots of
fish
oil
. I have some eyedrops.

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
I swapped the omega 3 from
fish
oil
to the vegan algae type simply because it smells better. It does cost slightly more, but dealing with nausea every day, smelling a pleasant "green" aroma would be better than powerful fish.

In a flap!
Hi Everyone. Apologies for this post, I’m just in a bit of a flap. Back in July I was told I’d need to go through IVF. Tests done, it’s all on me, diminished ovarian reserve, FSH on the hi side and AMH on the low side @ 4.1. I’m just about to turn 40. So now I’m just sat waiting for the first appointment

Symptoms but no diagnosis. Frustrating. I've tried everything and would appreciate any kind of advice. Please note this is a very long post.
I started to feel discomfort on the right side below my ribs about a year and a half ago. It wasn't pain as such but more of a discomfort that one should not feel daily. I was drinking heavily at the time; beer, whiskey, tequila. This discomfort has now become chronic that would last for a few hours

ICSI: 6th cycle failed
Hello all fighters, Just received bad news again and again. Today is day 5 and none of embryos made it to blastocyst. Egg collection: 18 and only 9 were MII, unfortunately 3 fertilised and the best we got today is 1 early cavitating grade 2. I’m 42 with AMH 2.4 and FSH around 4 but eggs are of bad quality

Testing Pituitary Function - Any Advice Please?
I had an overactive thyroid gland treated with Radioactive Iodine in February 1990. I gained two and half stone during the three years which followed. My doctor flatly refused the idea that my thyroid had become underactive, while my T4 slowly plummeted to the bottom of the range, because my TSH did

ADHD Weekly-- A Fishy Idea: Omega-3 Supplements as a Replacement for Medication
Q: Is supplementing with
fish
oil
a good alternative to medication management for ADHD? A: Many people have been hopeful about
fish

I tried taking iron supplement, magnesium,
fish
oil
... they all seemed to help for a bit, but honestly I never felt like they were doing anything magical. I even tried medication for Parkinson like many of you did, but OMG, that medication does not make me feel good.

Private endo for elevated prolactin
Hello I have been referred to an endo by my GP to investigate elevated prolactin levels. I discovered this by chance from a Medichecks result for menopause screening. I had two further tests on the NHS, and all three showed levels of around 700 (the upper level is around 500). There are obviously big

OHSS query
Hi all, I am about to start Menopur injections tomorrow after my bleed kicked in finishing norethisterone which made me bloat a lot! I have been reading about OHSS and getting myself worked up about it all and I wondered if anyone could help settle my mind. I’ve been told I’m on a stronger drug regime

Can PD get better?
So I also take cinnamon, phosphatidyl serine, Super B-complex, Vitamin D, Green tea capsules,
fish
oil
, a statin, CoQ10, baby aspirin, miralax, dulcolax, tylenol and melatonin. Some of these are for PD and some are for elevated cholesterol and some are for hemorrhoids and constipation.
