Still itching but end could be in sight
It is a daunting thing to get head around, F3
Fibrosis
! But, there is hope on horizon. Have had a letter from hospital specialist, apparently I do stand a good chance of improving my score, am also seeing GP next week to look at blood test results and organise a firm plan of action.

Switching from Tibolone to standard HRT
I’ve actually posted this in the Menopause Community but realised you guys seem to mention Tibolone more. I was on Prostap injections with Tibolone as some add-back HRT. I then had a hysterectomy, so I am now moving from the Tibolone (which I’ve read helps your body to make oestrogen/progesterone) onto

? Uti after egg collection
Hi guys I need your help! I had egg collection on Wednesday and since I have had some irritation down below, frequent need to pass urine and some discomfort at the end of urination. What shall I do? And will this effect embryo transfer?

BMB tomorrow
I’m guessing there could be 3 scenarios: worst case, AML, second, an upgrade to intermediate 2, or best case, no change and maybe even improvement in my
fibrosis
. My numbers have been stable but still abnormal this past year. I’m still anemic and my platelets stubbornly hover around the 700’s.

Update fibroscan and fibrosis liver biopsy
and is in my report it says no
fibrosis
and no significant damage I rang up to ask why it says no
fibrosis
when I was told i have
fibrosis
and was told it’s so minimal that they don’t grade it at that stage so basically they can say I have none of this isn’t good news I don’t know what is given my diagnosis

Pelabresib May Represent Optimal Partner for JAK Inhibition in Myelofibrosis
We consider bone marrow
fibrosis
improvement to be something that takes a lot of time, so one could imagine that with longer exposure, we are going to see even better bone marrow
fibrosis
improvement, hopefully of 2 grades or more. » https://www.onclive.com/view/pelabresib-may-represent-optimal-partner-for-jak-inhibition-in-myelofibrosis

Spinal injections
My spinal consultant does not offer spinal injections as he says that steroids are risky in terms of NASH and
fibrosis
. Not sure if anyone else have had same dilemma, and what they have been offered instead of steroid injections in order to cope with chronic pain?

First ever Fibroscan with results.....
Although the Table provided refers to the degree of “liver scarring” for
Fibrosis
scores from F0 thru F3. However, the Table states: “
Fibrosis
score F4: Advanced liver scarring (cirrhosis). So maybe the term “liver scarring” is synonymous with “
fibrosis
” ?

Wondering if anyone can offer any advice? I had a failed embryo transfer on the 16th of August. Stopped medication on this day and started heavily bleeding on the 19th of August. Elf score
, mine is 10.1 to me the Dr is not looking at
fibrosis
only my score not been over 10.5 ,which worrying when my score is 10.1 classed as severe ,further reading shows I should be referred to hospital and need a scan to check how far it's gone and get any treatment to stop it going further, but they say

Is a Fibroscan more accurate than ultrasound?
In a bit of a panic, I called my gastroenterologist to ask why my ultrasound shows cirrhosis and the last Fibroscan I had shows stage 2-3
fibrosis
. Which is correct?
