Please help. How do I get rid of wheezing in my lungs after 3 long lung drainage sessions (including nasal sprays) a day? True, I have a cold. I have brochiectasis, sarcoidosis and lung fibrosis. The wheezing is really bothering me.

Should I use my Atrovent inhaler more...would that help?

You really need to ask your medical team about this. We are not qualified to advise.

I'm sorry that I'm not in a position to help although I wonder if things might improve when you get over the cold. Maybe a phone call to the BLF nurses might be in order in the meantime to give you some advice. I hope that you soon begin to feel better.

I would speak to yr respiratory nurse or gp.if u have a cold,u may need rescue meds to settle the rattling down + avoid a flare up.i always increase my inhalers and salbutamol nebulisers, and sometimes need to increase carbocysteine.lot going round at present and im on rescue meds too for infective exacerbation.it sounds tough for u. If u need more urgent help,do ring 111.xxxxxx
