Help bleeding at 6 weeks

Hey everyone

I have been randomly bleeding since last wed evening on and off sometimes red blood and then others just brown when I wipe im 6+3 days now with my second round this time a FET after the first round of fresh embryo transfer ended in MMC 😭

I've pretty much lost hope now I have a scan tomorrow has this happened to anyone else I've read you can have outbreak bleeding from taking progynova

Also did the top test on Sunday and then bottom one today and its slightly lighter (cheap tests as I couldn't get a clear blue 😪)

I also had bleeding like this and after having a miscarriage a couple of months ago I feared the worse, the only difference this time was that it didn’t turn in to a heavy bleed with clots, I had an early viability scan at 6 weeks and all was fine with the baby, they could see what they thought was causing the bleed but said it wasn’t anything to worry about and some people just bleed in pregnancy, I wouldn’t read to much in to the pregnancy tests, the darkest line I had with my last pregnancy was the day I miscarried

Oh really thats interesting! Was your bleeding red? How heavy was it? I am thinking the worst and so upset you must have felt the same too! I've convinced myself I don't feel pregnant its just torment x

It was more pink when I wiped exactly the same as how my miscarriage started but then went to brown, it never turned heavy bleeding so I felt a bit better after a few days, I remember having brown bleading that went on to a pad when I was pregnant with my son and when I had my viability scan with him they couldn’t see anything, the nurse told me that some people just bleed in pregnancy, fingers crossed everything goes well for you at your scan x

I bled from 5 weeks until 14 weeks and have a healthy 2 year old. Please don’t lose hope and wait for your scan.Keeping everything crossed for you x

Oh ok I am very scared its this morning because its actual red blood I've had I just have a bad feeling thanks for replying 🤞🏼🥰 xxx

Hi Flo1990, I would say both of those tests look a good strong positive. I believe bleeding on a FET cycle is quite common. I had a heavy bleed at 5 and a half weeks of bright red blood and passed large clots - I was certain I was miscarrying. I spoke to my clinic and got put on extra progesterone - I am now 18 weeks pregnant. I would speak to your clinic - if you haven’t already. I also decided to do bed rest for the week before my first scan just in case it would make a difference. It’s so hard, but try not to lose all hope yet, keep up with your meds, rest if you can. Sadly no matter how many pregnancy tests you take they can’t give you a definitive answer, only the scan can. Really hoping things work out well for you too xx

Wow that is amazing! My head is all over the place I have the scan this morning scared isn't the word already lost 5 pounds from worry and stress 😖 xxx

Hey, I too had a FET and bled from week 5 to 6 and spoke to my fertility clinic and they assured me that bleeding in early pregnancy is very common as you body and hormones are trying to catch up with your pregnancy. For peace of mine, they suggested I go to the EPU which I did at 5 weeks and the baby was fine and there was a heartbeat. All is fine so long as you are not bleeding heavily, cramping and filling up a pad. Also if you are on protesgron vaginal pessaries, these could cause irritation as you insert them as they have sharp edges. Aww thanks for taking the time to reply that made me feel alot better luckily I had the scan and everything is fine with the baby thank god they said that the embryo spilt and created another sack which turned into a pocket of blood ... I couldn't believe it to be honest I'm still shocked now and so happy ❤ xx
