Repeat blood tests when starting on thyroid medication?
I tried to bring in the fact that the only thing holding us back from IVF is my thyroid levels - as mentioned by our
fertility
specialist, the GP does have access to the letter. The GP didn't seem interested.

Has anyone had an abnormal ANA (anti-nuclear factor) blood test?
I'm 33 and have no known health conditions or
fertility
problems (I'm in a same-sex relationship so IVF was inevitable for us).

Sperm DNA has contributed to our struggle - this test may be relevant for you ?!
Hello my fellow
fertility
fighters! I wanted to update from a previous post where we had a failed first IVF with ICSI round in November. 8 eggs all fertilised but left with nothing to freeze. We were obviously pretty shocked.

Graves journey - advice needed re diet, supplements & fertility
Hi all, I am a 32 year old female Graves’ disease sufferer and looking for a bit of advice on supplements and diet. I was diagnosed in July last year and put on Carbimazole and Propranolol for a very speedy heart rate. My levels steadily dropped and I went from 30mg down to 20 to 15 to 5mg between July

A bit of a rant to people who may understand...
She called to tell me she “now completely understands” what I’ve going through with my
fertility
journey, how hard it is etc etc.

Your experiences of adhesion of ovary to uterus
Did it affect your
fertility
? Did you have to have the adhesion dealt with or did they leave it? I know everyone is different so what they do for one will not necessarily reflect my case at all. I am just curious as to what they might suggest.

Can supplements actually make male fertility worse?
My husband has been taking a number of supplements to improve sperm parameters. He has done an at home sperm kit a couple of times since the results from the clinic and his sperm results seem to be getting worse. Is. It possible the supplements are actually having a negative impact?

Advice on the complications/risks of PCOS and whether pregnancy is recommended
I'd like to find out more and decide if progressing with
fertility
treatments is best due to these complications or whether an alternative option such as adoption would be recommended. Any help from this forum would be appreciated!

One of those moments when you just sob
I very rarely post but I really feel the value of being part of such a strong and educated community of
fertility
warriors. Tonight I’m sat here sobbing, and I’m sure I’m in one of those situations every one of you will relate to.

So many concerns about life affected by endo
I am supposed to be having the mirena coil inserted during surgery, but I have heard that
fertility
is best straight after surgery so am thinking that maybe we should start trying then? I may well be 30 by that time.

Is our fertility clinic experience usual?
Hi! Since starting in November, there has been an element of us always having to chase up results, chase up requests for phone appointments with the doctors etc.. We get there in the end...but I suppose the ‘care’ factor hasn’t exactly been what I thought. Medical treatment aspect has been fine - but
