Sensitive, but a message of hope
Our Embryologist thought we were complete hippies and going to implore the
fertility
gods 😂. We just wanted a nice day out but who knows, perhaps it helped- I found that happy/fuzzy feeling I hadn't felt in months. I wanted to share this to give hope to those in similar situations.

How to decide whether to have a hysterectomy
I'm 45, so
fertility
isn't an issue. The pain has been get getting worse last few months and it's really effecting my sleep, but it's certainly not as bad as what some of you ladies have described When my pain is mild I think I should go with the lap.

Five years of IVF: this is what I learnt
I scrolled this forum about four hours a day, I was persistently reading about
fertility
and it was all I could talk about. I left my career abroad to come home just for IVF treatment.

IVF medication
Starting my first cycle end of December and need to get the drugs here before Christmas, my clinic have put together a cost plan from
fertility
2u but just wondering if I can save any money (always a bonus!) by buying elsewhere. Many thanks :-)

Confused!
I have some
fertility
issues, endo and pcos and I have some other health issues. We’ve been trying for around 11 months now, same thing happens - period is like 5 days late, test - negative and period comes a few days later.

potentially unnecessarily medicated?
I have not ever been diagnosed by a regular GP or endocrinologist, just through my hormone/
fertility
doctors. My sister, grandmother, aunt and cousins all have underactive (borderline hashimotos) Many thanks, Rachel

HCG levels
I started my
fertility
journey in 2018. I am single so it was with a donor sperm. It is only after the first IUI that I learned my uterine lining is on a thin side due to uterine embolisation I had in 2013 for several fibroids.

Has anyone taken Prednisone and intralipid for ERA test or only for real transfer?
I asked my
fertility
clinic about matching everything we intend to take for medicated FET into the ERA for an accurate result and they said I don’t need to, just to add cyclogest and lubion, but I could add fragmin and aspirin also if I want to (which is part of my nk cells plan with another specialist

TSH levels are even higher now after being on Thyroxine!
After being on Thyroxine for 3 or 4 months due to elevated TSH levels (based on
fertility
guidelines), I'm very surprised to see that it's even higher than before! Also oddly my Serum free T4 levels are higher than they were before, which i interpret as a better result.

I’m just about to turn 23, have been having
fertility
issues for ongoing quite a few years due to endometriosis diagnosis. Almost given up trying.

*sensitive* pregnancy after miscarriage
Hi, I have recently found out I am pregnant following a miscarriage 3 years ago and some
fertility
treatment. My anxiety is pretty high as I have the same symptoms as last time I miscarried. I have registered for NHS counseling through IAPT but there is a long wait.

Microscopic endo
I had a laraposcopy in August by a general gynea who found no endo, but told me I had a fibroid on my womb I'm still in the same pain as before and my consultant has advised the size of the fibroid would not be causing the pain and he thinks I could have microscopic endo but has referred me to a

Health is failing, have i overdosed on supplements?
I am at the hospital this week for all the
fertility
tests, AMH, FSH and oestradiol and more bloods for general health and thyroid. I have never felt so exhausted and terrified. It’s like beyond praying for a pregnancy now and just wanting to be safe!
