Thyroid results-Hashimotos?
Hello, Looking for some help in interpreting thyroid results. I've been testing privately over the last two years. Does this show Hashimotos and would it be enough for a GP to take seriously? Since having my son three years ago I've had many unexplained symptoms - weight gain, swollen legs, fatigue,

Private blood test providers
hello My nutritionist suggested recently that Medichecks blood tests are possibly not as good as they might be. Not sure what this is about, but can anyone suggest some other UK private blood testing facility that is reliable? Thank you

My 3 Arrows Heme Iron has finally arrived! How do I dose it?
It seemed to take a long time to arrive. But it's finally here. At my last blood test my iron was low, not deficient and not low enough for a doctor to comment. But lower than I want and I struggle to keep Ferritin half decent. I've never had good Ferritin. So how do you take your 3 Arrows Heme

vegan, thyroid test & iodine
hello I have symptoms of hypothyroidism but haven’t been diagnosed. I have a thyroid function blood test in 1 week. I am vegan and take an iodine supplement as I don’t eat seaweed or use iodised salt. Should I continue to take my iodine tablet up till the test date or should I stop taking it?

Post heart attack
Hello again, I posted on here a few months back regarding my husbands palpitations. Things have moved on a bit since then , he has been having random chest pain and saw the doctor, he reassured him that the pain was most likely muscle strain … not sure about that . He had recent blood tests as he is

Revisiting the Zoledronic acid pros & cons
Hi folks, I was offered zoledronic acid two years ago and was so freaked out by possible side effects that I declined. At the time I was at a much lower dose of Pred and naively thought I would be off it by now, that my calcium absorption would return to normal and I'd be able to rebuild my bones naturally

More tests/ moving clinic / Dr.Shehata
So an update: After another failed implantation in Dec I’ve just had my follow up consultation with my clinic. I really like the consultant, she works both nhs & private. I think she works at the Lister , so I may follow her there. She has also recommended the fertility clinic at UCLH London .

GP requests blood tests after injections
My daughter has asked her GP for B12 injections (I won't always be around to do them) she has been called in for a blood test, however stating NICE guidelines didn't help. She has previously been misdiagnosed with MS and even her neurologist wrote in a letter last summer that nothing abnormal was found

Stopping Kevzara
I have had to stop my Sarilumab jabs, yet again, because my white cells have dropped again. I have been off the drug for over three weeks now and have heard nothing since my last blood test. I expected to feel gradually worse without it but I don't. I still have the pain and take my painkillers, but

Bile duct dilation due to steroids
Please can anyone tell me if this can happen with use of steroids. I went to A and E with chest pain, since been diagnosed with hiatus hernia the very latest in the long line of issues. they did a CT scan and came back with nothing other than Intra and extrahepatic bile duct dilation with no cause

Is there seasonality to testosterone levels?
My ADT treatments (Lupron/Abiraterone/Prednisone) ended on May 02 2023 at which point both my PSA and Testosterone were flat lined. Here are the results of the four times I have been tested since the end of the ADT. * Aug 18 2023: PSA is 0.09, Testosterone is 3.3 nmol/l (95.2 ng/dL), Testosterone
