hello

Well.., diverticulitis is not nice at all. New to me and having got to age 64 fairly unscathed apart from anxiety, am feeling a bit vulnerable. Woke with abdo pain +++ and was away visiting family struggled on but when I got home pain was worse and went to see Dr. Given abx and pain subsided. Blood test shows raised inflammatory markers for infection. Long story short I ended up in A and E as pain kept coming back - CT scan confirmed diverticulitis. Agree with other members that pain is horrid, tiredness is also very real but anxiety levels are now stratospheric which also doesn’t help I know. Hoping all this will calm down and if anyone out there has similar experience I would be really pleased to read any of your posts. Thanks.
