Don't waste your money on multivits, best to get the results first and then choose specific vits and mins to target

Order the Medichecks test that includes key vitamins - ferritin, folate, B12 & D3. Then you will know your current level and how much you might need to take to raise it to optimal.

Multivitamins often contain iodine which isnt recommended, also other ingredients like iron or magnesium that prevent you absorbing the other vitamins. They use inactive vitamins with not enough quantity to cover a deficiency or raise your level to optimal.

I have ordered the medichecks kit and look forward to the results. Would you recommend showing them to the Gp at my next consult?? I will post them on here as so many knowledgable folk here.

Gps have no training in nutrition and will tell you everything is fine when your result is 1 point above the bottom of the range.

Post the results in a new post and take it from there from recommendations from members.

Hello! I am on Levothyroxine 100mg TIVA brand around 2 years now. I had recently appointment with new Endocrinologist and done blood test. Waiting for his call right now. But my T3 results not so good so he probably will treat my T3 after his next appointment. Also I wouldn't do finger prick blood test as I think it's not occurred enough for right results. I usually have to give 3 to 5 ampoules with my blood test to just check everything with my thyroid .

I have ordered the finger prick as that seemed quickest and you would hope they would t offer it if it wasn’t enough in the first place! I can always show the results to my Gp if anything is seriously out of range.
