Is there a difference between Barrett’s tongue and barretts oesophagus ?
I have been trying to research this since my endoscopy showed “possible Barrett’s tongue” Biopsy has been taken to rule this out which I hope is a positive sign , but does anyone have experience of this term? I understand that it is associated with hiatal hernia although my reflux issues aren’t too

Diagnosis?
How do you get rheumatologists to take you seriously? I am almost convinced I have Sjogrens, but after seeing threee rheumys, they say no, because all my blood tests have come up negative. But I still have the dry mouth, which is progressively getting worse, I have salivary issues, dry eyes and body

Cycle #5 tested negative 8dp5dt. Is it over for me?
Tomorrow is mother's day in the UK so I wanted to test today. I'm cooking Sunday lunch for my extended family tomorrow and I just thought either wait until Monday or test today. It ended up being today and it was negative with the second pee of the day. I'm absolutely gutted and trying to hold it together

Down regulation - blood test?
Hi All, I am nearly at the end of the down regulation phase and will have my first scan next Tuesday to confirm if my ovaries have switched off. The reason why I had to go through the down regulation route is that my first IVF, which was a short protocol, failed miserably. I was bleeding and lost all

Potential ET diagnosis
HI All, I’ve been on this forum a few months now but this is my first post. After a routine blood test last October I found out my platelets were just over 500, then after a subsequent jak2 test I can confirm I have it at a percentage of 2%. I’ve now just had a bone marrow biopsy to hopefully get more

Low B12 and ferritin questions
Over the past year I have had frequent respiratory infections and when not ill, I am always exhausted. I often need to stay in bed on my days off recovering. Alongside the exhaustion and frequent infections I have dealt with nausea and gastric problems which I always thought were due to IBS. I faint

Stem Cell transplant register search goes on…
Unfortunately my next appointment with Consultant has been delayed until early April as they are no further advanced in their search for matches on transplant register. The Nuclear medicine tests that I have just had will be added to MyChart which Addenbrookes uses to show appointments, test results

cabg graft failure?
Dear all I had an 3 X cabg last summer ( I am only 44) and now I am experiencing chest discomfort and have had high pulse (apple watch) with minium effort. I went through blood tests and ekg and echo which all came in fine. This does not feel normal to me, has anyone experienced same symptoms and

Serum ferritin results
Can anyone please help me decipher my latest ferritin results? Previous tests have always been around the 30 mark. I'm confused by the comments after. Has my ferritin increased? Or is it to do with the 'change in assay' (no idea what that means). Serum ferritin 111 ug/L (15-300) Please note change

Low B12
My private blood test shows low B12 at 48.1 pmol/l. Is this something my GP should follow up with? I take daily B12 supplements but obviously this isn’t sufficient. Many thanks.
