Serum ferritin results

Can anyone please help me decipher my latest ferritin results? Previous tests have always been around the 30 mark. I'm confused by the comments after. Has my ferritin increased? Or is it to do with the 'change in assay' (no idea what that means).

Serum ferritin 111 ug/L (15-300)

Please note change in assay from 1/8/23. results will be on average 65% higher than previous.

Many thanks

“change in assay' = change in range

If it was 30 before in range 15-150

Ferritin 30 ug/L (15 - 150) 11.1%

now

Ferritin 111 ug/L (15 - 300) 33.7%

Thank you SlowDragon-just to clarify then, my ferritin levels have increased?
