Adrenals
Morning everyone. This is my first post on here. I was diagnosed with GCA in August 2022 and have been tapering down the Prednisolone to 5mg. I also take Tocilizumab and Methotrexate as I’ve had a difficult time with the Prednisolone so many side effects. How do I know if my adrenal glands are working

There’s no point to this post
Hi everyone, hope you’re all as well as can be. I’m approximately 3 1/2 years into this PMR. Sometimes it gets me down. I’ve been trying to start Humira for Ankylosing Spondylitis again, but the delivery company have been an absolute NIGHTMARE! It’s been so long since I last took it that I’m wondering

Gallbladder Removal?
Hey MPN-ers 😊 It’s recently become recommended for me to have my gallbladder removed. Not really in any pain but sporadic discomfort and upon ultrasound it was discovered my gallbladder is full of stones 🥴 I’ve been reading up on some patients side affects after and the stress it puts on the liver

Benefits of knowing your illness/condition/disease to help others as well as yourself
It’s about time I posted that a couple of months ago my husband was diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis. I was somewhat overwhelmed by the diagnosis having had PMR, GCA/LVV myself over the past 5 and a half years and haven’t, until now, felt ready to share his story on the forum.

HRT shortages after oophorectomy
Hi everyone How is everyone coping, what have you done around the HRT shortages? For me it's the utrogestan, I paid for it back in February and was given 30 days worth (should have been 90). But they haven't had any in stock since. I am starting to get concerned about endo growing back, and how quickly

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

Autoimmune Registry
I didn't know there was an Autoimmune Registry. However polymyalgia rheumatica is not found through their opening page search although it is on the list as a vascular disease, as is giant cell arteritis. Maybe their search function is as useful as HU's (used to be)? :D Or maybe they just haven't got

Bone Pain
My doctor just took me off of Ibrance, after 4 years, because my spine and neck are showing signs of getting soft. I’ve been in a lot of pain for the past year, to the point that I am unable to walk 100 yards without stopping. I am scheduled to see and Endocrinologist and for a MRI to try and determine
