Surgical Menopause - Estradiol gel dose???
Hi all, Anyone who takes estradiol gel for menopause, please may I ask how many pumps you apply each day? I had a total hysterectomy a year ago (everything removed including tubes ovaries cervix) which of course meant I started surgical menopause straight away. After 6 weeks I was prescribed Estradiol

Butterfingers! Feeling frustrated and poor.
I am dyspraxic, which means that I have always been extremely clumsy and have terrible executive functioning. With advancing age, my dyspraxia has also meant that I have also experienced increasing aphasia - I can often see/hear the word in my brain, it just doesn't make it to my mouth. Since being on

Information for people in the UK on Tocilizumab (Ro-Actemra) injections
Hello, and apologies for not posting for such a long time. As one of the few (and greatly privileged) LVV-GCA sufferers in the UK lucky enough to have been prescribed subcutaneous Tocilizumab injections, I have a couple of items of news. Hyster+Oopherectomy vs Lupron/Orlissa for endo pain?
I'm new the group and have been reading all of your helpful posts about endo, surgery, pain relief, etc. I wanted to get some feedback on hysterectomy+oopherectomy for severe endometriosis and recurrent endometrioma or would taking Lupron or Orlissa be a better way to go? I'm also wondering for those

My whole life I was constipated only used the restroom prob once every 2 or 3 weeks! A few years ago I started getting the opposite after what I thought was bad food! Turned out after 10 drs, ultrasound, ctscan, blood test, dehydration and a hida scan my gallbladder was functioning 14% so it came out

Femara vs tamoxifen for gynecomastia
Femara was suggested to prevent gynecomastia while taking casodex, however it seems tamoxifen is overwhelmingly referenced on this board. Can either of these drugs affect PSA lowering results of casodex, and is tamoxifen preferred and if so why. Thanks as always for your support.

Recovery time after cervical polyp removal
Hi, I have a hospital appointment to remove a small cervical polyp. If you’ve had this procedure, how long after were you able to do physical activity, such as heavy lifting or walking a strong dog that pulls occasionally? Did the hospital insist that someone accompanied you home after the procedure

Pelvic MRI experience..
So I’ve gone from sepsis, to fobbed off, to emergency MRI that I had last night! Results to follow! So far have been told I need an oophorectomy and hysterectomy after the first MDT! Awaiting the second one that is going to compare this MRI with the MRI I had back in November. So I rocked up to my appointment

Journey update: LVV/GCA, tocilizumab and exercise
I have been diagnosed with LVV/GCA beginning of February (though MRI/MRA and PET/CT were not fully conclusive). With the help of Tocilizumab I now arrived at 12.5 mg prednisolone per day. I know that this is a very fast taper but it worked well until now and from now on the steps will become much smaller

Covid vaccine & PMR
Having had my vaccine today, I asked the nurse if my antibodies would produce equally as well as someone who didn’t have autoimmune issues. ADT and growth of breasts
I was not a victim of breast enlargement during my first injection of Lupron or while on Casodex but I do not know if it is any indication that my breasts won't grow once I start ADT again in a few weeks. Did any of you experience growing breasts while under ADT? If yes, did they go away after treatment
