Cardioversion recovery?
My husband had a cardioversion (his 4th) on Wednesday; it failed. He's feeling very tired and he says his chest feels a bit sore, like after heavy exercise. How long after your cardioversion, failed or successful, did you feel the effects of the procedure? He was started on Amlodipine after the procedure

Hi All, I’m a newbie here...64 yo with hypertension (family history of cardio probs) and am on 7.5mg Ramipril since last month . This was increased from 2.5, then 5mg since July 2017. Amlodipine alternative ?
I'm currently having problems with fluid retention which I believe to be a result of taking amlodipine, does anyone else take a replacement for this ?

Change in lifestyle
A month ago my BP readings where averaging 145/101 and I was on 2.5 ramipril, after going to the doctors as it gave me a really irritating cough I decided to stop taking it and change my lifestyle, I’ve cut back on alcohol and have become more active, for the last week my reading have come down to 125

Sharp pains in head
Am not usually a headachey sort of person although have been getting a few lately. Last night I experienced two very sharp pains to the right hand side of my head, rather like someone hammering a nail in. I was also woken up with a sharp pain in the early hours of this morning. I take Pradaxa and Felodipine

New to heart drugs for high blood pressure, do I have a problem, am I being over treated?
I’ve been on Bisoprolol 2.5mg and Amlodipine 5mg for 18 day’s now after being on Ramipril for 3 weeks previous for erratic and high blood pressure and in the last few days my blood pressure is really low 95/63 with heart rate of 48, I’ve just gone into a warmer climate too, so I’m tired and don’t feel

Ramipril?
Does anyone know if Ramipril causes further elevated liver enzymes? I was prescribed this medication by my nephrologist to help with the protein in my urine, however since I had slightly elevated enzymes presented in my last CCB I want to be extra careful in what I put in my body.

The Difference between Ramipril and Bisoprolol
I am suffering from AF last 3 years, I am asymptomatic, I am prescribed Ramipril and Bisoprolol and also take Xarelto the anticoagulant. Can anyone let me know if either Ramipril or Bisoprolol affects the heart rate (pulse), or do both have nought to do with that area... Reason I ask is I noted that

Amlodipine not working
Hi, 58 yr old, fit active and a good weight. Diagnosed with HBP 5 nth ago and have been taking amlodipine 10 mg since. I have a home blood pressure monitor, which I assume is pretty accurate, however my readings are still quite high after initially they seemed to come down. Has anyone else experienced
