I'm currently having problems with fluid retention which I believe to be a result of taking amlodipine, does anyone else take a replacement for this ?

I would talk to my GP. There are lots of medications for High BP, it is a matter of finding the right combination for you.

You could also talk to your pharmacist before you speak to your GP as they often know more about side effects of drugs than the GP in my experience,

Thanks for the replies, GP just told me to speak to Cardio, I've already spoken with Pharmacist but it's seems any alternative will possibly have the same side effects.
