New diagnosis
Hi all, new to this. I went to the doctors with no symptoms apart from a virus a few weeks back. Was told BP was high and put on Ramipril. Since then I have been fine and went back today and even though feel 100% I was told I have 25% in left hand side and probable Cardiomyopathy. Everything on line

Total Coronary Occlusion
I went to my GP with chest pain that I had been suffering from for a few months. The pain was on the right side of my chest and apart from one incident where it REALLY hurt, mostly it started in both sides of my jaw, then spread to both armpits and finally felt like I had just smoked too much. It would

After CA 2 years on
As one of the very lucky people to have survived my CA and now only taking Ramipril 5mg with Aspirin, not forgetting statins, I am still confused as to where my energy has gone, again been very fortunate to have passed all clinic check ups and heart is working fine but excepting I have stents inserted

Is this suggested increase too high a jump?
I have Hashimoto's and posted on here recently about private consultant suggesting I increase dose from 75mcg to 100/125mcg alternate days. I always understood you should only increase by 25mcg increments but didn't think to question him at the time. So wondering if this is too big a jump? I also take

MUSCLE WEAKNESS AS SIDE EFFECT OF LISINOPRIL
I have been on Lisinopril for some 3 years now. Before then, I was using Amlodipine to control my Blood pressure. The Doctor said Lisinopril is good because it protects the organs particularly, the Kidney. However, for some six months now, I have had excruciating pain in my right bicep along with swelling

Driving - keep on going ?
This is my first post - please bear with me. I'm 76 and I've had heart failure for around five years and have been taking Ramipril and Bisoprolol to control the failure. Last November I had a Pacemaker fitted. The Doctors have decided I have a high burden of atrial fibrillation and need an anticoagulant

8 Months On from Positive GCA Biopsy
